We started off with a of the - traditional Cretan food (cheese and honey, olives, homemade crisps, bread and olive oil). There was also as the sun was setting which was perfect. We then had a menu with lots of small plates as starters. Everything is made using local, or homegrown ingredients and the dishes were quite traditional. Absolutely delicious. The star of the show was a sharing board of home reared chicken, pork and lamb, perfectly cooked and served with chips and greek salad. Fabulous food in a truly picturesque setting. We had our at Agreco and it was pure perfection from start to finish. The setting is breathtaking – surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and those magical Cretan sunsets – it felt like something out of a dream. The team went above and beyond to make every detail flawless, from the incredible food and to the warm, genuine hospitality that made us and our guests feel so welcome. A special thank you to George, the manager, who was so attentive, positive, and truly made our day unforgettable. His warmth and professionalism meant we could relax and soak in every moment knowing everything was taken care of. It was everything we could have wished for and more – intimate, beautiful, and unforgettable. We will cherish the memories forever and can’t thank the team enough for making our special day so perfect. I could not recommend Agreco enough to anyone considering it – it’s a truly unique and magical place and one that will hold a special place in my heart. 100/10! This has been one of my all time favorite dining experiences. While we are staying at a Grecotel villa, it’s not typically one that allows for reservations at Agreco (from what it seemed at least). They were more than happy to accommodate us. The before featured the most delicious cheese with honey, sampling, and more. There were so much food to eat during dinner. We booked the in September & were not disappointed. I have unusual diet requirements (only chicken) & they were able to cater to that perfectly. The vegetarian dishes were some of the tastiest - as agreed by my “eats everything” partner. The setting was super intimate, the service was great & the was incredible. The at the beginning was an experience, learning how everything is made on-site. The multiple courses were a good size with such variety. Unfortunately, there was a on the evening of our so we didn’t get to experience the main venue; however, the taverna was gorgeous and it didn’t feel like plan b at all. The even had some fireworks which we got to enjoy. It cost us €59pp plus €18 for a bottle of wine. 10/10, highly recommend. I don’t know where to start with this review because Agreco left me speechless with just how they were with my wedding. From when I first booked in July 2022, Agreco’s communication was amazing. From answering all my questions - even during their busiest season. They made sure I felt reassured during the process no matter how many emails I left! We met Liz our coordinator and the at Agreco a few days before our to run through the details (as we came from the UK). Liz was absolutely in ensuring everything was correct and her attention to detail left me feeling at ease. The treated us to their fresh, homemade bread and lemonade while we met which was delightful. Our day was absolutely magical. Everyone told me it was the best they’ve been to, with the food being amazing, and the leaving people speechless. The were absolutely too, making sure our glasses were always topped up and being so friendly and welcoming. Liz also worked her magic to make sure everything ran smoothly in the background, even timing the fireworks with our first dance song. I honestly can’t say one bad thing about Agreco and the staff. They made my day even better than what I could ever have imagined and I am so grateful and thankful I booked this venue. It was the most beautiful location. Chrissy was handling the day. The food was delicious, traditional and the best food we ate all week. The were incredible, always made sure our water was topped up (it was a hot day) They have a lovely shop and the rooms to get ready in had AC all day and night which was perfect for getting ready and pop in for a cool down. Love it here x An absolutely experience, more than worth the hour drive out from Chania if you’re debating it (it’s a pretty drive too, mostly down the coast and/or through hills). I will say, maps took us down some dodgy looking dirt/mud road which is not this place’s fault. There are multiple roads that lead to the farm, definitely worth avoiding getting on a tractor trail if you’re driving in. The folks working at the are friendly, knowledgeable, and the service is above and beyond (shoutout to Yiorgos and Nikos, we were so touched by your efforts and generosity).
