This is an interesting garden, half of the looks well maintained and some of it quite recently renovated. The other half is rather wild with quite a lot of the that are supposed to be there, not there. Overall, I would definitely recommend a here. There's lot's if information about all the different and their uses that are grown here. It's also free to enter. Some of the is quite easily accessible but others have narrow uneven paths. The is amazing with so much choice of different teas, spices, and infused products. We had a cut of tea and a piece of cake in the restaurant afterwards. The tea menu was vast, and there was a lovely selection of cakes and chocolate bars. I had a fantastic to this garden. It doesn’t feel commercialized at all—instead, it reflects the owner’s passion and dedication. Even in January, the gardens were beautiful and of interest, with easy trails to explore and so much to see. It’s an especially great destination for those interested in and medicinal plants. After my visit, I loved researching all the unusual I had discovered. We also had lunch here, and it’s worth visiting for the food alone. The menu is extensive, and as a vegetarian, I was spoiled for choice. We tried both types of hummus, a fresh and vibrant salad, and a hearty lentil dish—all absolutely delicious. My beetroot and ginger juice was also fantastic. Before leaving, make sure to browse the shop—it’s far more unique than most shops, offering a wonderful selection of soaps, candles, herbs, incense, and more. For those with mobility issues, summer tours are available in a small motorized vehicle, and while some areas are under construction, it doesn’t take away from the experience. Highly recommended! Amazingly diverse choice of all kinds of herbs, oils, honey, handmade soaps, incenses, and dried fruits. It feels like you've entered a unique supermarket of some kind😉 The salesman is helpful and respectful. Comfortable parking is available. 5 stars for their diversity of plants. Takes 3-4 hours to walk through but the offer electric cart rides. It was very large and more than I wanted to do. If you love medicinal plants, you must visit. The herb next to Spili village. An incredible amount of spices, tea, fragrances, and other natural products. In the cafe, delicious cakes that look too sweet but are just right. Orange juice is very good. You can explore the garden, but it takes three to four hours on foot. We only did a short tour. The and are marked with a QR code, so you can find the information easily. The serving robot was fun. We stopped here for a coffee. But if you like tea this is the place to be. I think you can make a choice between almost 100 different kinds of tea, there is even a blue tea! And you can buy the also a d baby, many different herbs. Food is very good. And, if you have time, you can make a walk in the Botanic garden. It was a surprise stop "en route ". All the 5 star reviews are spot on! Had a lovely meal with lovely wine. The view even on a cloudy cold day was lovely with heaters lit. Staff really friendly. Can't wait to again! My only slight grumble would be people smoking but we were able to sit a long way from them and it didn't bother us. THE CAT ROBOT IS SO CUTEEEEE. So this is a garden, completely free entrance. It's one of those hidden gems you find along the road and recommend to everyone afterwards. Inside they have a small store and cafe, with a HUGE selection of teas. I go every year around the end of the season to buy new tea blends, and I have only great things to say about the tea. They also have locally made like and other beauty products, like any typical tourist store in greece. The waiters are assisted by cat robots, and the people who complain about that obviously have no life, because the robot waiters are the sole reason you should this cafe. I dig it. Super cool place to have a stroll through a beautiful garden. It's free! Be weary of German and French tour groups, though. They don't understand the concept of consideration for other humans around them who don't want to breathe their cancer smoke. This place is just amazing. The is huge and very beautiful. The coffee is the perfect spot to have some drinks and snacks after a walk through the garden. The is fantastic! Lots of natural products, starting from and but also cosmetics and food. I just love it! Great service! Such a beautiful botanical garden. You need some time to walk around because it's large! The is amazing, but a little chaotic because there are so many things to see. There is a terrace where you can sit for a drink, and there is a wine cellar. An incredible place that is just too easy to miss out on! The is full, and I mean full, of local made bio that range from exotic soaps, to herbs, local wines and honey, to cosmetic made by maravel garden. Everything very well priced and of good quality. The snack-bar was incredibly of products, from a wide range of teas and smoothies to local recipes that are incredibly, and I mean it, tasty. We had a few traditional Cretan pieces that were 3.50€ each and two smoothies, we were full! Incredible value for money! And the service is done by a cute robot :) And if that was not enough to make you stop by, there is an incredibly big botanical of every single type of plant you can think of, a church and even to small museums recalling the ancient mills of the area. It was an incredible find that really is worth a visit! Oh, and besides all of the aforementioned, you can also go wine tasting and do a Raki laboratory, very interesting and well priced for those who want a different experience! Be sure to check their website in advance as they have some events going on! Reserve this place at least a 1.5-2 hour time slot in order to experience it! The staff is very helpful and will speak to you in a perfect English! Toller Garten, viele Kräuter,Tees, Seifen etz.kleinere Mahlzeiten, Kuchen! Sehr zu empfehlen!! A must see if you Spili village. The plant’s availability depends on the season but is quite to take a walk in the and then the shop, which is fully loaded with condiments and natural soaps. Or you can eat at their terrace, taste a wine…. Very beautiful Botanical with many things to see, River, Fruit Forest, cactus garden, old Mill, a church, a small lake and lots of places to rest and meditate ☺️ There is also a with many things to see, from essential oils to handmade and from local like oil and honey to various types of spices! I loved it and I will 100% go back! Highly recommended 👌🏻♥️ I didn’t get the chance to wander around the garden, but the itself was amazing – such a huge range of spices, soaps, fragrances and more. They’ve got loads of their own too. Definitely worth a stop, even if you’re coming from a bit further away. A huge of interesting plants, cacti and more. A lovely break in the journey. They have just unearthed a mill (May 2025) which is very interesting and cool temperature inside. There is a 1000 year old plane tree down by the river near the other old mill. A magical place to rest and a cafe. You must Maravel Garden.
