Beautiful place to stop, walk around and marvel at the stunning old architecture A real fairy tale probably a place you can travel finish within 2 hours. You wont find souvenir shops there but rather a nice river where you can watch the ducks goes by, traditional gummy bear shop, never felt the air more amazing elsewhere and some of the heart felt restaurant that i have been to. Go there to lay down and just forget the world in a true fairy tale town. An extremely picturesque location... with a Spanish restaurant at the heart of it. Mmm... Otherwise it is a very nice town, and the hiking paths around the are also great. Parking is available, the charging station was out of order. Lovely small where you can walk around. Peaceful atmosphere and everything is so beautiful. Free parking here and there, notably at the entrance of the village. A beautiful, calm and lovely small surrounded by mountains. Sitting on the riverside is very relaxing and peaceful. Recommended to visit once if you are looking for a short nature walk. Great lovely Black Forest village with old wooden beam houses. A small river runs from each of the two valleys joint at Schiltach and there are nice walks to be had here and close by. We stopped for a coffee and an exceptional Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. Lovely service from the waitress just sorry she had to put up with some other rude English guests who would not make the effort to at least try speak some simple German phrases. Would love to go back and sample the other meals there, they seemed reasonable prices. Beautiful place for a short visit. There weren't many shops or restaurants but it's the perfect place to enjoy the environment without many people. Plus, there was an indoor market this weekend which had many beautiful products for low prices. A very scenic location on river bank. Colourful historic old buildings.
