This place is worth a shot if you have lots of money and you want to loss some and you don't mind about it. But overall it's a great experience to know a few bits and pieces about how betting works. I have rated 4 only and only for the good set menu food which made my day worth the booking fees. There would a big wait and short of staffs while on the weekends for placing your bets and getting it before the race starts. It's a one shot experience if you want to go for. Great out if you fancy something different. We had a party of 10 from work all on a Punters ticket which includes first bet, drink and food. The food is basic Burger, chicken or hot dog and chips but perfect for the that's in it. Bring cash for betting, Euro or Sterling. We were putting €2 - €5 per on per race, 9 races and as you can imagine there's plenty of advice to be had at the bar 😁. All good craic. All the staff are friendly and helpful too. Great out for something different. We had excellent seats at the window. Food was average and the staff made a few mistakes with the orders. But the venue knocked afew items off the bill for this. All in all, it is very good, and I would highly recommend it. Great night's craic having a few bets on the races! The bar has plenty of beers on tap, the staff are very friendly, there is a restaurant and, while we didn't get food ourselves, the food looked delicious. Only negative is that there were no ATMs and bets were cash only, which was a pain as I had to leave and go to the shop nearby to get money out. Staff friendly. Over charged me €49 which got it back. 1st time betting . Restruant staff also dont know how to bet so i was lost . Asked us what we want to order b4 we were given the menu. 🤔 . Wife and i wanted a new experiance for our 14th wedding anniversury. I guess we got an experiance. Not a great 1 tho. However, do not eat from the deli/takeaway on the bottom floor. Twice I have been and ordered chips with cheese. Both times the food was cold and below average. The second time was worse. There was a boy serving food and handling money at the same time. Giving out change to others and also handling my order with his bare hands straight after. Made me feel gross and disgusted. For what I received, I felt robbed from the price as well. Other than the horrible food on the bottom floor, the building, atmosphere, upper floor, and the main restaurant is a good place to spend the betting or enjoying a few drinks with your friends. Recently attended a 1st Holy Communion reception the Staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn’t do enough for us the food was top class everything went so so well. I’d highly recommend having a meal / party here we’ll definitely be booking again . What a brilliant from start to finish. It was my birthday and everything was perfect. The customer service was amazing. It really is a great night's craic. Sabrina and Alicia were unbelievable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food was amazing.
