What a Gem of a place! Friendly staff! Great aesthetic! Delicious food! We ordered off the breakfast and each one of us was delighted! My homemade granola, cherry compote, fresh berries and yogurt was so dreamy! We will be back again soon…maybe even tomorrow! Tank & Skinny's is a restaurant chain from Donegal specialising in breakfast and lunch. I visited the Muff branch and was really impressed with the branding, interior and the menu. There are a number of vegan options but I tried the Vegan breakfast which was delicious. The portion was amazing and the prices reasonable, it was very busy and I can see why! I would definitely advise trying it out and I would love to them spread further in NI, I think they would do fantasticly in Belfast! Overall very good experience will definitely be back 😊 First timers and holiday makers here. We came to the village to stock up on outdoor gear in Borderland. We headed in here for refreshments after. I ordered the Tandoori chicken wrap with crisps or salad for €9.90 and a Strawberry milkshake at €3.90. Both thoroughly enjoyed. My husband opted for Bang bang chicken as a main €10.90. He loved it and reported it was flavoursome and very filling. He also ordered an Americano at €3.20 and was pleased with it. Our two kids shared one portion of Kids chicken goujons and chips at €5.90. They devoured this and also managed to make a substantial dent in my milkshake. When we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. The place was buzzing and the has some original and very tasty elements. Overall this place is a must if you are passing through or near this Donegal village. Impressive and plenty of parking out the back. We will definitely return if in the vicinity. The only place in the village where you can get good food. There is quite an extensive and the food is freshly prepared and flavoursome. Or if you just want some and cake there is a wind range of mouthwatering delights to choose from. A great place to meet up for lunch or and a catch up with friends. Great location with plenty of parking around the back. Lovely atmosphere inside with very cool decor. The food was very tasty, plenty of options on the and lots of choices for hot drinks/baked goods also. Overall, a lovely place for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Went to the restaurant in Donegal while on holiday. Querky decor and design, nice memorabilia about the place. Friendly welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere and vibe about the place. Very busy on a Thursday mid morning, so I can only guess it's busier at weekends. Parking available at the back. Great menu, including gluten free options for my coeliac diet and a vast choice of speciality coffees. Food was lovely. Noticed several Tank and Skinnys around Donegal and Portrush, so if they are all as good as the one near Moville, this new chain of restaurants will do very well. Absolutely amazing food and service for a busy Sunday afternoon. 8 of us landed hoping for 2 tables, but they knocked it out of the park being able to seat us all at the same table. I was doubly impressed by the vegan options and the thought given to making sure side salads etc were also vegan 🥰 the salt n chilli wrap n Ultimate Vegan chips were amazing! Will have to be back 💕 Having been a regular customer for years, this place has worked out the kinks to provide great service. The tastes great and the food follows suit. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service (see in photos). A regular favourite is the breakfast burrito and a new favourite (pictured) is Hungers Mother with a delicious sweet chilli cheese mayo. Be prepared to wait for a seat as people regularly flock here for a nice time to spend with family and friends. Stopped in on our way through and had two excellent breakfasts. Seamless ordering and very friendly staff. Food and piping hot and delicious. Wish we had a Tank and Skinny’s in County Down near us in Newcastle. I reckon it would be super busy!! We all noticed them chatting and laughing with the customers. A brilliant spot for lunch! Alittle queue on arrival but two separate parties commented on how "it was worth the wait" and it certainly was! A real hidden gem!
