Clean reasonably sized room, just like the photos. Atmospheric bar. Closed for dinner the night we were there but staff directed us to a good alternative. place to stay. Awesome place! Irish hospitality at its best. fish & chips and amazing team. Was here last September, and Gavin, the owner, remembered me! Slainté We love this place, it is THE PLACE to stay in Killybegs and we have stayed here three times now. The owners are incredibly friendly, generous, and accommodating—I won't go into how we found this out, but suffice it to say it rekindled our belief in human kindness and the generosity of the Donegal people in general. Super central location adjacent to the scenic port and food both in the Fleet Inn itself and from The Boathouse (and sibling business The Fish Shack) next door. Personally, I think the Fleet Inn's chowder is a little more sophisticated than The Boathouse's! There's a pub/restaurant area on the ground floor where you can obtain the aforementioned chowder, other dishes from the sea and the land, plus all manner of beverages and it is a popular place with locals, and with the mariners when they are in port. Across the road is the excellent Wild Atlantic Crafts which showcases the work of local arts and crafts people. This is the best bar we visited when we stayed in Killybegs. The atmosphere was great, the staff were very friendly and quick to serve, and the Guinness was great. The food was disappointing. We didn't stay in the accommodation so cannot provide feedback on that. Overall a bar, and one I recommend visiting and one i will definitely go back to. The service at the restaurant was fantastic and the location is hard to beat. The portions of food were large and good value for money. The food itself was quality. The reason I’m not giving it 5 star is because of the cocktails. They are cheap but they taste syrupy. The expresso martini was like a milkshake, the bramble was pure sugar, and the margarita came out with no salt rim. Overall a place to eat and drink, highly recommend. ,friendly service even though understaffed. Beautiful fish n chips with the best herby peas &homemade Tangy tartare sauce.. Will definitely be back. You should check it out! 5stars! I recently stayed at The Fleet Inn and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. The rooms were very nicely finished, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. The food was exceptional and truly exceeded expectations! On top of that, the location is perfect for exploring nearby walks and attractions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Fleet Inn to anyone visiting the area, a real gem! The fleet is a spot! Delicious food, lots to choose from on the menu. Good kids menu also. Staff are super friendly, service is prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The bar is extremely clean and the pints of Guinness are top notch!!
