Walk the wooden path on top of the dunes which you can access by walking along the “resort” side of them. Nice clean witha borrow bin for various items ( i never looked at it so might of been empty). Steep incline drive to get to the parking with a far amount of spaces. Beautiful scenic beach, not very busy. Breathtaking approach with a steep and curvy road. Fabulous and great place to swim. When tide is low, it’s amazing and spacious, but I guess in holidays and weekends it will be packed with tourists and general public so not the best place to relax on those days! Pretty steep and narrow road to/from the parking and the car park itself is not very spacious so plan well and be early. Great views on Sligo area/coast on sunny days with good visibility.
