Really nice beach, another Wild Atlantic Way spot to visit, and it is on the way to Slieve League, defo worth to pop up for a few minutes of more. Beautiful sandy is enclosed by grassed sand dunes. Small carpark right next to beach. Perfect for any age group , families, dog walkers etc. A beautiful, serene and quiet beach. Perfect if you just want to listen and watch the waves crashing on the shore. Quite a bit of history too. More parking spaces are badly needed... Otherwise, pure heaven! Beautiful golden sands. Very clean. Clear water. Stunning surroundings. Lovely walkway. Can't fault it. This is a beautiful beach. Clean & tidy. Quiet a steep drive down & a small car park. It is a blue flag beach. Dogs allowed after 7. The good thing about this is that it’s spacious, has a toilet,a tap with water to wash your feet and in general it’s quite clean. The bad thing is a small parking lot and something in the water that bites you…(might be jellyfish or some other species). Beautiful big beach, perfect for paddling your feet. We got great weather so it was busy and parking was limited but worth it Fantastic little beach, care just needs to be taken on the drive in as its a steep decline into the car park. Lovely beach, parking limited in the summer. Beautiful gorgeous scenery no jelly fish An absolutely beautiful blue flag Wow ! Worth visit and drive to rusty mackerel after for food.
