Excellent food, staff are fun. Reasonably priced. I've tried to give them a few chances, but each time has been a big disappointment! Last night I ordered online but it took 50 minutes from when my was placed to it being ready. Also they gave me one of the wrong food items.... (Was well before any dinner rush time frame, not busy yet) I even rang them 5 min after making the online to make sure it went thru& that they'd start cooking it! As I had received no promised confirmation for it... But no, They weren't even making the food til after I arrived to pick it up🤦‍♀️ Then also, Last time I ordered here a few wks back, I phone called ahead to order, driving thru from 20 min away... When I got there, they said my "only just came thru" (?????) & i had to wait another 20-25 min on the spot for it... So again 45+ min from placing to receiving order. And again, they gave me a wrong item for one of my sides! The food is also extra greasy somehow..... /: Seriously what's the point of having a phone or taking online orders if you don't start making the food til the person arrives anyway??? Makes no sense...I mean that's the one job a has, to take down orders and make them... But they don't really care about making yr food til 30 min after you order....weird. time wasters Big Johns is openly committing fraud. Got them on video admitting to the fact they were knowingly selling faulty vape that I got 9 pulls from, NINE, and refused a refund despite fully acknowledging the vape was faulty. Tough luck basically. Have reported them to CCPC. Don’t buy your vapes here! Absolute disaster for a 🤦🏻‍♀️ food is always either freezing cold or burnt (cooked in FILTHY oil), items are often forgotten from the aswell. Also to mention, delivery time is appalling - literally live not even 10 minutes away and it takes almost 2 hours to get a simple order. Apparently you're not allowed to leave reviews either because you'll be asked to remove it! Staff are a bit too nice aswell, trying to do everything they can to get a good review which is not possible to leave when you're getting absolute rubbish that you've paid for. Very embarrassing for a local takeaway, especially if they haven't got the mental capacity to make a simple burger, pizza or kebab 🙄 horible food i paid for 4 kebabs and 1 pizza and 1 chicken nuggets and they forgot about 1 , after i sit down to eat and the kebab miss all the specification in the order... place very bad Unfortunately the wrap we ordered was the size of a small pen with a few small pieces of chicken. I have ordered this wrap many times but I have not received such a minimal portion yet. The wrap costs 5.5e, I don't know what I paid for? In addition, the delivery was late and the wrap was cold, despite the fact that I live near the restaurant. Hello customers this is a called BIG JOHNS This is the worst ive ever ate in my life Old staff or new staff makes no difference Wasting no more money on this rubbish! The food always either comes burnt cold or cooked in dirty oil Its like they haven't replaced their oil since the 1960s I always put on my notes to cook the food freshly please the delivery woman comes to the door and told me not to keep putting freshly cooked on the notes of the more less to ring them if theres a problem Customers are entitled to put what they want if they are not happy with what they are getting! We gave it to the dog it was that bad that the dog didnt eat it The food is suitable for rat consumption only not edible for human consumption The Food Safety Authority of Ireland would shut this down instantly!! Its called a it should be called Keep Away! and even my parents agree with this When peoples food is disgusting they should be entitled to a refund.
