Easy park. Food was excellent. Top marks the server who greeted, checked me into my room and served my table. He is a credit to you. He was very professional. Walked me to the door of my room rather than pointed a direction. Advised me on when food finished if I was hungry. Served me at breakfast. Made sure I was OK for everything. Checked on my table twice. Made to effort in coming over to chat and topped by showing interest in my day and wished me a good trip. Top marks great restaurant!, food was beautiful!. I had two 4 oze burgers with salad and chips, they were amazing. Very high standard here, very young here though, Jo really looked after us so well. I would highly recommend this establishment as it also offers B&B for a great rate, I can only imagine what the breakfast is like!!!!!. Enjoy. Adrian. Foot note... Guinness is Very good. 👍 I had dinner here a few weeks ago with my wife and 2 sons and their partners. I will certainly never step foot in here again for food it cost me 200 euro for food that you would get ina side street cafe for quarter of the price. Tasteless and portions were all children portions . very good 👍 but honesty the chef should take a look at him / her self and stop sending food at those prices out at way below standard. I have been a manager in a very vibrant hotel in dublin which provides music and food and if I thought for one minute my were sending food out like what I received heads would role .no excuse for it as not a very Complicated menu! Prices to hight for the quality and quantity of food . So disappointed! The one star is for the very friendly staff. The food was overpriced and underwhelming. We got what we would have expected if we'd have ordered a half portion. Husband ordered the beef special. Very small and a big piece of gristle in it. I ordered the chicken supreme...two breasts (on the bone) portions that could've been pigeon! The could see we were unhappy...but what could you say ...it's obviously the substandard they are serving as standard. Two drinks each and two half portions 73.30 euro. Went into the Copper still straight after and ordered starters to fill us up. Had a brilliant stay at The Brandywell. Everyone was so hospitable and really made me feel welcome. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. The food is great too A Great bar and accommodation in Dromod. Communication & responsiveness is excellent, management did everything possible to cater for my accommodation. Stayed here with my friends for a night and had a wonderful time. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the beds were very comfortable and warm. Jo was an absolute gem, so lovely and caring, and made sure we were well looked after. She moved us to a different room because the one we'd booked had a problem with the heating, and she wanted to make sure we were warm enough. Breakfast was included in our booking, but everything was reasonably priced. The pancakes I had were lovely, and a grand cuppa tea to go with it. Very walkable town, so Brandywell is not too far away from anything. 10 minute walk to the train station, maybe 20 minute walk to the nearest shop. Overall I had a lovely stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the and Jo especially for being so kind and hospitable and for making our stay so lovely. ❤️ We stayed for two nights and were looked after exceptionally well by Jo and all her staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and the food was great with big portions as well as being at a reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Jo made sure we had everything we needed as we had special needs as well, which we are most grateful for. Thanks for everything.
