Quite a large site with services, you do have to pay extra for water, it was 18.80 Euros for 48hours which is not bad as a rest over before heading to Calais, not all pitches are level...in fact most have slight issues and it's close to a busy but that does quieten down at night.....all in all we had a stopover here and would use it again before getting the Eurotunnel home. It's a great place to stop for the night with wonderful views but the barrier did not print out a code number which we needed to get out! No way of contacting anyone and not able to pay for a new code. Had to force up the barrier to get out . Very well located, with splendid view and approximity to beach and town. Take-away on site. But the grass is far too long (over a foot high) all over the site. Half the sites are too sloping for levellers. 2nd visit (last in October) and pleased to see the town is awake! Excellent entry & exit system. Service Dalek is with free disposal of grey & black water including flush. Water & electric charge is extra. Amazing views over the harbour & the Channel. A reasonable walk into town & a food take away trailer just over the road. Chips €3 small €4 large. ☹️ Aire is very reasonable at €7.50 per night for one person & van. Only things to be aware of is that you will need levellers & there is traffic noise in the daytime. Excellent entry & exit system. Stunning views and all the usual facilities. Great Aire at the top of Boulogne sur mer. Views over the bay and across to Blighty. Great takeaway across the road. Busy but noise dies down at night it's OK you can get a sea view the parking is on a slope shops about 30 min walk view of the coast and the huge working harbour is a walkable distance. However, instructions in English on the keypad entry system were not clear, and I missed the exit code on screen because I was looking for a printed ticket. It was Sunday and no-one was available to help, but the staff of the Marie acted very quickly on the Monday morning and sent someone to help. Excellent place for overnight stop for ferry. Everything you need, water, grey waste etc. Beautiful town. Highly recommend Not big enough but brill if u can get in Lovely hill top vistas. Paid for water but wouldn't work.
