Good Asian food, but delivery time not the best. Edit : 31/01/22 I posted my first review of the restaurant almost 3 years ago. Over time unfortunately this place has become worse, the food is just tasteless. In addition, they forget orders and you have to ask them to give you what you paid for. 3 years ago I gave 4 stars, now it deserves max 2 stars We ordered chicken chow mein. It was a little surprising to find mushrooms, carrot and broccoli in it! There was a generous amount of chicken just not quite what we expected. This is our go to take away restaurant. We get nice food, good portion sizes for a Reasonable price. lovely people with a great service. Small waiting time. We love Singapore fried rice and Singapore noodles which are spicy and delicious. No problems to recommend Have been ordering from Corner House for years whenever I visit the grandparents in Midleton. Myself and my Nana are gluten free and they have always been superb- they have never made a mistake with our food and are able to tailor menu items so we can have more choice. I am now also a vegetarian and they were happy to change things further for me. Popped in over the weekend without calling ahead as I was passing by and they were incredibly fast with our order. The lady at the desk even gave me an up to date menu and circled everything they could do GF which I think was especially lovely given that they were clearly incredibly busy, phone ringing off the hook! Everything was delicious as usual- Nana was raving about the prawn chow mein. It’s clear that they use high quality ingredients and portions are very generous- you’ll have plenty of leftovers! The team are so friendly and lovely and I genuinely look forward to Corner House takeaway as a staple of my visits to Midleton. Fab food, also alot of gluten free options 😋 The attitude from that woman at the counter is infuriating. Rude, loud, arrogant and very unpleasant to deal with. She shouts at everyone aggressively. Will absolutely not go back. Even if the food was good. Which it isn't. Overpriced and tasteless. Not as good as it used to be. Disappointed with the last takeaway, a chicken chow mein. It lacked flavour. it just just blah Got the spice bag, with a portion of chicken balls, probably the biggest spice bag I’ve seen! And deffo the tastiest! Only down side was the curry sauce wasn’t nice! But 100% the best spice bag I’ve had in a while!
