Best of the menu was the miso warm salad ( which went really well with some glazed vegetables as a side). Notable features is that portion size for all dishes is very generous and the dish presentation is eye-watering. This held true for the roast of the day, that day ( beef ) and the hake plate, both were plentiful. The melt-in the- mouth textured hake on a bed of mashed potatoes and al dente broccoli did however need ( mushroom and mussels) the sauce for taste. Of the desserts, the meringue and the Bramley apple pie were winners. It is in a lovely, relaxing setting, staff are very friendly and helpful and has plenty of car park space for guests. Don’t forget to check out the hens and goats in a hen coop in the car park - great novelty for the kids. Enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a scone while my other half enjoyed a Bramley Irish Breakfast. Very comfortable setting, really tastefully decorated and you can also purchase freshly baked goods etc. 🤩 wow what amazing service and food. my cousin and I were driving 12th April 2025 and had been on the road a couple of hours; heading for the airport but we decided to take a trip around. We ordered coffee, lunch and I also had the homemade Bakewell tart!! 😋 Excellent facilities at the venue and some animals outside for you or the children to view. Goats and chickens. My poke bowl was tasty but dry. I think instead of rice it would be nicer with quinoa. My husband rated his Lebanese 3 Cakes and coffees were nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also there were chickens and goats kids loved watching them. You get what you pay for, the food is well worth the price. Italian sandwich was very very flavourful and came with some of the best soup I've had in my life...and a little sweet treat! Lovely service too, prompt and friendly. I would recommend coming here on a sunny day for lunch and sitting in the area with the big windows... The food tastes very good, looks like the chef’s has some sort of ethnic influence. Very tasty. Food is perfect, we teasted coffee and cakes, all is fresh as usual. Perfect for get aways after work. Stayed at Fota Island and decided to try somewhere different. What a great find. The kids ordered a Thai curry from the adult menu. It was sublime. I had tacos with deep fried panko prawns. The Fresh prawns were succulent and incredibly tasty. The food was delicious. There was a lovely selection of starters, main course and deserts. I needed gluten free and they had no problem making the Portuguese seafood skewers gluten free for me which was fantastic. Also we had the Thai curry which was divine. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn’t have a desert but can’t wait to try out some next time. We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends and we will definitely be returning again soon. The service was exceptional and the food was really nice!! Came here to celebrate my brothers 20th birthday. The poke bowls are very refreshing and the French fries were so so good. My dad couldn't get enough! Will definitely be back, thanks so much.
