Beautiful park, very well kept and beautiful scenery. Great with lots of bespoke play equipment, rather than the same stuff you see in a lot of playgrounds. Especially good for slightly bigger kids I was disappointed that there were no dogs allowed, but I guess that's because some might not pick up. So basically a children's playground which appears pretty popular. Kids love it here, nice handy size park, equipment starting to show its age but still very good for the kids. The was disgusting. Rubbish everywhere, broken machines, no one wearing masks or social distancing and very dirty. This is usually a lovely park. But the council have let it go to ruin. Needs to be shut down and cleaned up It is a cute little with a playground for the children. It even has a zip line! There is a skatepark as well. A few small paths to walk on alongside the river and even a few work out stations. Nice relaxing spot to sit for a picnic. We at the rear of the Heritage centre. Beautiful spot. Great for children of all ages. Very nice for picnics or a stroll around. Great walk, fun please for Kids Really nice playground and well maintained. Kids love it and ideal for picnic. Oh what a place. If there is one County Council in this country that has to be applauded its Tipp Co.Co. on this great amenity. Secure, beautiful setting, bursting with activities & wheelchair friendly swings what a place. Plenty of seating area from where parents can rest and comfortably see their little ones at all times or get a walk around the while they play. Then there are public pools onsite and a little coffee shop. Brilliant set up, all other County Councils in Ireland should take inspiration from here. We spent over 3 hours there and the kids didn't want to leave. If you are planning a great day out for the kids for free head here, pack a picnic and bring a ball your sorted. Lovely place to bring children. Not good for kids under 5. Beautiful park, well maintained, but functionally doesn't cater for toddlers. No baby/ toddler swings; slides are too big and steep to scale; open pond areas with no protection. The playground activity areas have a sand base which is messy in wet weather, and the sand ground level has eroded badly under swings meaning the swing seat is too high to reach. A little more thought during design stage for all age markets would have helped.
