Very nice and cozy restaurant, great food and kind staff We really enjoyed ourselves while we were there Lovely restaurant a few miles from Nenagh. Fish and chips or special pizza was delicious. I requested pizza to have extra spicy stuff and I was surprised by the chef - it was really spicy, enough spicy to be able to taste the pizza. A must go for you. Add this place to your list. For sure, I will come back to enjoy and discover other items from the menu. We stayed in a B&B close-by and the owner recommended us this Pub, and wow, what a fantastic recommendation that was! There is plenty room, everything's clean, staff is one of the best I've ever experienced and food ranged from great to fantastic. Food is also plenty and drinks are good as well. We actually enjoyed it so much, that we returned a couple of times and never even once regretted it! Every single dinner was fantastic! We were blown away by the warm hospitality, the incredible food (we had the roast lamb and turkey – absolutely delicious! Almost best had ever), and the cosy, authentic Irish atmosphere. The portions were generous 😃 just the way we like it 😋 and each bite tasted homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. But what truly touched our hearts was the people. From the moment we arrived in Ireland, we’ve been deeply impressed by the honesty, decency, and kindness of the Irish people 🇮🇪 and that spirit is alive and well at The Thatched. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of the local community. This place is not just a restaurant ⭐️ it’s a little slice of Irish soul. Great service, coctails menu is good and all taste really good. Enjoyed a lovely family meal here this evening, service was excellent, so friendly, food was really good. We had roast lamb, vol au vonts & 2 children's meals. Desserts were also very good, apple pie, brownie & sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely stuffed now, kids were very happy , we'd all happily dine here again. Delicious hot carvery available on Sundays, we were a group of 10 and they easily accommodated us, they also offer free squash at the bar for diners. Lovely friendly staff , clean toilets. Will be back again soon. Food was great, huge portions but great value for money.
