What a fantastic wee eatery. The layout, the cleanliness, the size, toilets, service and beautiful food. Breaded chicken was just perfect. We were kinda lost but happy to find this spot. Thank you. A fine breakfast and really nice people working there, might give water a look , tea wasn't Worth a visit when passing through Borrisokane. Nice and the food is great. Real Irish home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Food delicious could not ask for more 😋 thanks Every meal I’ve had The Country Kitchen has been great, from toasties to pancakes. My husband assures me the full Irish is too. The food is always fresh and tasty. You can tell the ingredients are good quality. The are always super efficient and friendly too. It’s always a nice treat to get breakfast here when we are camping in the area, which has been a lot in the last few years i.e. since the pandemic started. Highly recommended. I work on the road and this is a lunch stop with lovely clean bathrooms. were so friendly and welcoming and there is ample seating inside and outside for dining. The selections of food, drinks and desserts are not done justice by the photos of the menu on Google and would almost put you off going so don’t be fooled! Been plenty before went again during the week wont be going again the place gone down hill we got our breakfast in plastic go containers with wooden folk knives and spoon the coffee has definitely changed could do with been a bit more friendly one was very nice but also very loud when talking which could be seen has shouting Stopped off here today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. menu...lovely coffee, decent portions, reasonably priced and lovely staff. Well worth a visit. What a gem! Been here for breakfast and lunch on numerous occasions while visiting the area. The food is delicious and fresh, with an incredible variety of homemade dishes and store cupboard staples on offer. The crispy bacon bagel and granola bowl are a way to start the day. And the dinners are all delicious 😋 Such a pity. This used to be a lovely place with good food and table service. Now its simply a takeaway with plastic packaging. and no table service. Such a pity.
