Well run family, local restaurant a little away from the motorway (8 min) (not a tourist trap) with fresh, local old fashion menu. Delicious and fair prices. Delicious roast beef and vegetables today, with excellent service. Cooked to perfection We came to visit in our Motorhome and had a warm welcome. Had a beautifully cooked Sunday roast. Couldn't fault it, with a soup for starters I am full and enjoyed every mouthful. I am definitely coming back to this friendly restaurant / bar. I can't recommend this place enough! 👍 Myself and my family booked a meal and from the very start it was a disaster of service quality. The food was very lengthly when ordered to when the food was on the table … the main meals were not all given out at once there was nearly ten minutes wait between when all people at the table were served. We ordered chips and I had my entire meal eaten before my chips were even given out to the table. Then they were in general delayed in every aspect of the service given the there were a lot of kids which didn’t help the scenario as the kids were hugely impatient while waiting … we won’t be returning I feel that my food was not satisfactory portioned either .
