We got in touch with Craig at Romanby Golf Club, about hosting our 40th Anniversary Celebration, I wanted Mince dumplings mashed potato and vegetables, we also wanted a fish dish, and Craig recommended Salmon, in a tarragon sauce, with hassleback potatoes and vegetables, chicken nuggets and chips for the little ones, desserts were Apple crumble and custard, and white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, fruit pavlova and coulis and finished with tea and coffee. The food was absolutely delicious and all my guests commented on it, he accommodated everything we requested, the day went perfect, nothing was too much trouble for Craig and his team, I cannot recommend highly enough. You won't go far wrong booking this establishment for any occasion, we also got Craig to book a bouncy castle for the children, and it's a safe place for little ones to run around and play. They provided the cake stand, decorated the room, to what we wanted. Thank you once again Craig and team, Thank you chef, for doing a great job. We had our here in July. Craig and Ed orchestrated the whole event and made it the most memorable day of my life. Everything was taken care of by the lads and they ensured it was a day/night we will never forget. Everything was incredible, tge service, the food, the drinks, the venue, the photo locations. I can not recommend this and their highly enough. We recently held our baby shower at the golf club. The was for our party, plenty of comfortable seating and a gorgeous outlook overlooking the greens. The wonderful attentive staff helped us set up our decorations even providing a cake stand for our cake, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, lots a variety, sweets and savoury, perfect. I could not thank Ed and his enough for helping us have the best party possible. Edd, Craig and all the at Romanby Golf and Country Club made our day absolutely in every possible way. From start to finish they went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, and we honestly couldn't have wished for a better to look after us. The golf buggy moment was epic, thank you for helping me make that into a reality. The singing waiters prevented the after-dinner lull and brought the room to life, and the baby Guinness train on the bar was the piece de resistance an absolute highlight that no one will forget anytime soon. The were not only incredibly professional but such a joy to work with, friendly, helpful and fun to be around, fully supporting my crazy ideas 🤣. I can’t thank the enough for everything they did for us to ensure our big day was throughout. They were very accommodating, very friendly and kind. Nothing was too much hassle and they went above and beyond. Ed was able to reassure me through out and always made sure I was happy with everything. The only thing I would change would be the DJ , unfortunately he wouldn’t play songs both myself & groom asked for. We had our daughters Christening here yesterday and what a wonderful day we all had. All our guests said what a wonderful day they had and how good the food was.
