Very generous tastings and excellent food. Amazing platter of cheese, charcuterie, nuts, dried fruit, fish and vegetables. The family were really friendly and it was to spend with them and learn about the wine, the business and about Montenegro. Incredible experience. The owner was with us the whole explaining the history of the winery! We had the best time! Very intermit setting. Only 3 tables at a time. Make sure you book! We did the tour with 4 and 1 rekija and one different after likeur. The last two they have different tastes. From kiwi to pomenegrate. And From walnut to cherry amazing. The place has it’s unique atmosphere, Mitar told us a lot of interesting facts and history of their vinery. He is the current (14th) generation who is running the place together with his father. We recommend to anyone who is nearby to schedule a visit and have at least 2h. You won’t regret! I would recommend to anyone visiting Lake Skadar. Mitar was a brilliant and generous host. It is an intimate setting within their home and cellar. You can learn about the region, winemaking and family’s history. It felt like going to dinner with a friend. The we had was very special- nothing like any tastings we have ever had before. Mitar was extremely funny, passionate and knowledgable. My partner & I were absolutely stuffed by the end of it- a very generous portion of food! The we had were exceptional and plenty! Service was amazing and we learned so much about Montenegro wines. A personal and authentic tasting- the perfect evening after exploring the lake. What an excellent tasting. value for money, company, food. The person who hosted the was amazing - friendly, kind and also very knowledgeable. They accommodated us as well because we are vegetarian. We went to the the other night to participate in a since that is one of the few things to do in Virpazar – other than the obligatory boat trip, of course. Communication via WhatsApp went very smoothly and we were able to make an appointment even rather spontaneously. Our host was very welcoming and easy to talk to, he prepared home-made food from the garden for us and served us an awesome vegetarian plate. We tasted the traditional Rakija schnaps as a starter followed by very tasty, different red wines. All while we learned a lot about wine, the and Montenegro in general, chatting in a very laidback atmosphere. If you consider participating in a in Virpazar, this is you address!!
