Nice home-made and big battered onion rings! I can't abide take-aways that take half an hour or more to make a bag of and expect passing motorists to have nothing better to do than hang about wasting time. This is not one of those outlets, this one is fast and efficient, so top stars! The Fish & is a winner. I stopped in here for a bite to eat after hearing good things. Greeted by a very friendly woman who took our order and t’s reasonably priced with a very good selection. I ordered 2 cod and yesterday. When I got home, it was easy to see 1 piece had just been cooked, whereas the other must've been under the heater for a good while. It wasn't edible, far to dry. To be fair, the were lovely but still a little disappointed. Best in town Love this place if im in Strokestown. The range of food is great, reasonable prices. Food is cooked while youre waiting, no food 1/2 cooked + re-heated for you. Love the Pizza's. Staff are great, have a laugh + home with Sisco. ❤️ you can eat in the other side of the take away. Great portion sizes. Proper fresh Cod in batter. Huge portions and homemade chips. Good price too, €8 to €9 approx. Well impressed. This has to be 1 of the best place to hv a meal or takeaway. You will always get more than what you ordered 5 star I called in for a pizza and chips, the staff were very nice and helpful. The pizza had a lovely crisp base and the were great aswell. I ordered a 12in pizza, and onion rings, the were ok the onion rings were burnt to a crisp and the pizza was unrecognisable, the cheese was completely burnt the pepperoni was black and the mushrooms were no better , I was never so disappointed it was completely uneadable, I will NEVER eat from this place again 4 years ago I got the worst food poisoning of my life from Antonellis. I hadn't stepped foot in the place since until today. Ordered 2 fish and chips. One fish looked like a battered fish and the other looked like it was begging to be put out of it's misery. It had been cooked more than once and tasted disgusting. I ate a small bit, struggling to even chew it and I have not felt well since. This place seriously needs to be inspected. Lesson learned, never again will I eat here again. Should just close it at this stage. Asked for a chicken kebab and normally you'd expect salad and the trimings but no such luck. As dry as cardboard, just chopped up bits of chicken thrown into a cold, limp pitta and not as much as an ounce of flavour. Very disappointing. The girl at the counter barely said thanks and the rest of the staff seemed like they had no interest being there. Nowhere near worth the €25 price. Been going for years but from now on I'll take my chances elsewhere.
