The service was incredibly efficient and getting delicious food to take away was not a problem. The portions were HUGE!!! We had a lovely lunch here, it was a treat to be able to call in by boat with a good mooring spot The staff were really friendly and helpful The food was great and arrived quickly after ordering We were there on a Sunday and the place was busy There was a slight wait time before we got seated at a table but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the sunny day outside Overall the silver eel was very enjoyable and if passing by and you want to stop for a bite to eat it is not a bad option Had dinner here the other day, while the sun was out. The views are particularly astounding in any weather, but with the sun out in all its glory it's fantastic. There's even a boat moared up, also waiting to go in to the restaurant. Then whilst my friend + I we're having our dinner, another bigger boat pulled in. Been here a few times over the years, it's a hit and miss, sometimes it's lovely and friendly staff and good food and sometimes staff haven't got the time for you and the food is OK. Had the most fantastic dinner. Had the steak sandwich and I didn't even need a knife it was so tender. We were a party of 12 and the staff were so attentive we couldn't fault them. We will be back.
