A tidy park with lots of decorations and seating areas. Probably the prettiest place in Longford Town as its looked after and kept nice. Paths are now smooth so friendly for people with disabilities even though they are a bit narrow. Plenty of free parking. If you're looking for something a bit more quiet, head over to the royal canal or Cloondara bog as its much more peaceful there. Lovely park in the heart of Longford Town. The River Camlin runs through it. Beautiful mature trees and small herb garden tended to by members of a local school. The is around the perimeter and is approx 1.93km. Well maintained and put to good use by the locals with free exercise equipment placed at random intervals. Plenty of car parking spaces and place to lock your bicycle. Basketball & football courts outside and a gym, swimming pool & sauna area in the main building. Spotless well maintained park with lovely accessible for all walk, 2 lovely playgrounds.
