Nie jestem katolikiem I visited St. Mel's Cathedral and it was an unforgettable experience to think of the miraculous Power of the LORD GOD. I spent some time in Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. I lit candles for families associated with us. The history of the Cathedral is amazing. The only stain glass which was not blasted during is very good. I rejoiced when I heard them say: 'Let us go to God's house ' Ps. 21. Visit this place where God lives. Whoever you are, He welcomes you. Respect it Be silent, believe and pray. Jesus loves You 😍 Welcome His Love. History tells something to you and me. Wow. First time here for me - not very religious. The cathedral is beautiful. It is an astounding restoration after being burnt down some years ago. Fair play to the people who had the vision to rebuild but not be bound to the past. Beautiful modern interpretation. Classic. Thanks, Peter R. It's a lovely church. Pictures of the renovation are inside the door as you go in Beautifully restored Cathedral, modernised during renovation. Well worth a visit. A pretty new cathedral rebuilt after 2009 a fire. The new cathedral was completed on 2015. One of the most beautiful churches I ever visited. It was extraordinary, modern and holy at the same time. I fell in love with the church windows and the objects they have inside. I would happily revisit this church—the community and the people inside felt very good. Fab location. Visited many of times. Beautiful location This Cathedral was destroyed by and was restored the Harry Clarke stained glass window survived the fire. What a beautiful and sacred place! Christmas 2009 I will never forget! Adoration available here and a beautiful Catherdal to see the holy family icon and to pray! This has been done up lovely after the fire. The acoustic, a little difficult. Lovely church Beautiful Cathedral inside. There's a lot of Charities and groups within its premises. Lovely place of worship, great ambience, with a lot of historicals. A gorgeous Cathedral, visiting St. Bernadette's relics on a lovely fine Saturday morning. A great attendance all morning, the ushers did a marvellous job keeping the people moving along. A great experience. Beautiful quiet place A stunning modern cathedral! Would really recommend to have a look at it! The stone artworks are incredible to look at, located on both sides of the Cathedral on the inside. It really fascinates me that the picture of the Holy Family is still standing after the fire! It's a must see when passing by Longford!
