Right on the beach, it was so idyllic. The staff were so friendly and brought us several free snacks which were all locally sourced. Highly recommended little gem x Lovely bar with great views. Would have stayed longer but the price of drinks is disgusting. We had: 1 x 330ml (small) beer 1 x cocktail 1 x Milkshake 1 x water 37€!!!! Absolutely amazing pub and restaurant with the beautiful view on the sea and charming atmosphere with a nice music. I can definitely recommend breakfast and main food, drinks as well! Tried to charge us for our bill and the other group and only took cash. Very dodgy. The green boat just down the street is excellent! A magical place, you feel like you're in a story, thanks to the decor, the sea, the vibe and last but not least the very nice ladies who served us. Besides Sangria and beer we also had an absolutely delicious meat and fish platter, with different ingredients, each in itself a pleasant surprise. We decided to come back in two more days, to enjoy this beautiful place again. Operational policy of this local should be called „no mind policy”. Despite ordering AT THE BEGINNING water and cider, the waitress informed us that we cannot stay there, because only 2 of 4 ordered. Amusingly, we wanted to order more, because we planned to spend there more time… their choice = their mistake. Lets think twice before making the decision. Avoid! I can only think that the positive reviews are from the owners themselves. Food is appalling, everything is grossly over priced. They tried to say they only took cash, but had to concede and take card when we said we had no cash. The only good thing is the location,but there are plenty of decent places in a good location that won't make you feel like youve been robbed Unfortunately, our experience at Portofino Beach was very disappointing. First of all, they provide umbrellas without any support system and expect you to set them up on your own, like an IKEA kit. No assistance whatsoever. Because of this, the improvised setup couldn’t withstand the breeze, and the umbrella ended up knocking over a glass, which we were then charged 10€ for, even though it clearly wasn’t our fault. Secondly, food was bad and didn’t match the menu description. This place is overpriced and unprofessional. Would not recommend.
