Wie waren in unserem Urlaub dort um mit den Pferden einen Schrittausritt und gemeinsames schwimmen mit den Pferden in einer Bucht zu machen. Da wie selbst Pferdebesitzer sind, haben wir uns selbstverständlich vorher die Pferde angesehen. Sie sind seht gepflegt und gut genährt. Also haben wir gebucht. Bei dem Preis haben wir erst geschluckt, aber es war ein unvergessliches und schönes Erlebnis. Der ganze Weg zur Bucht wurde auch per Auto begleitet, dort konnte man seine Handtücher und Taschen mitgeben. In der Bucht angekommen waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und es hat einen riesen Spaß gemacht. Dieser Ritt ist auf den tollen Pferden auch für Anfänger geeignet. Die Sicherheit ging immer vor und die Mitarbeiter haben mit jedem privaten Handy auch Fotos und Videos gemacht. Wieder zurück am Stall gab es Getränke und einen leckeren Obstsalat😍 Danke für alles und beim nächsten Urlaub auf Zakynthos sind wir wieder dabei🐴 and special experience. Welfare is a huge motivator for me and it's clear from the outset that the are loved. They are all home bred from breeds selected for their ability to thrive in hot climates and are all wonderfully cared for. They only offer two rides a day, one in the early morning then again in the evening so they are not out in the hottest part of the day. This is in sharp contrast to other operators we saw on our ride, one of whom left his guests just standing in the water while he splashed about on his clearly stressed and then took off at full gallop up and down the beach. It was sad to see. I've been for around 35 years but this is the first opportunity I have had to actually swim with a horse. It was amazing, a once in a lifetime experience. The chance for the and I to cool off in the crystal clear water was very much welcomed, as was the water and fruit when we returned to the centre. In most tourist destinations I’ve worked in, it’s hard to find a stable where the are truly loved and well cared for, but here, that’s their biggest priority, which is exactly what matters most to me. All the rides are walking-only, which is perfect for the and keeps things safe for the riders. The setting is gorgeous—riding through the forest and along the at sunset is breathtaking.
