Very nice people, wonderful restaurant and fair prices! We have been there 2 times in 3 days. Recommend the grilled bread with pepper sauce 🙌🏼 This place made it for us in experiencing a Greek night with and dancers who knows how to engage with crowd and make them dance. Highly recommended as well for food and service. The lamb chops, sausage, Greek salad, and fries were also amazing service. Highly recommended but advised to book before so u can secure a good table facing the dancing floor A very warm and welcoming tavern with food. Lovely outdoor seating and traditional Greek on Fridays. Strongly recommended! Expected more because such a high rating, but our food was bland. The chips were soggy and missing salt and the squid was a bit undercooked. The moussaka 'special' is a must taste. It melts in your mouth, words cannot describe this taste. The employees are nice, speak English well enough and are very kind. We will likely comeback during our holidays. The pricing is very reasonable and can be considered cheap in comparison to other restaurants and/or taverns. One remark is that smoking is allowed (outside at least) it's something that we Dutch aren't used to anymore. We were there on Friday evening with and dance. Really nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed the zucchini fritters, fried feta and the Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts. Nice service! size of apetizers. We did not take main dishes. We had an amazing at Dennis Taverna. Fast and friendly service, delecious food and overall atmosphere 10/10. Loved it and would totally come again when visiting Zakynthos. Superb, the food was very good, had of bit of problems finding a place to park. The location is gorgeous, on Friday nights there is a band singing. Highly recommend Dennis Taverna. The food was fresh and tasty. They have all your local foods as well as freshly grilled meat and seafood options. Yianni the owner took care of us and we ended up going back two nights in a row. They also offer and traditional Greek dancing entertainment on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you like immersing yourself in local culture would recommend going and enjoying the vibes. Dennis Taverna in Zakynthos is, without a doubt, the most welcoming place I’ve visited on the island. The food is of exceptional quality, with every dish perfectly prepared and reasonably priced, making it a value for money. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. In particular, Anastasis, the waiter, is the best I’ve ever encountered in all my travels around the world. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made the dining unforgettable. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to eat and feel truly welcome, Dennis Taverna is a must-visit! What a wonderful and fantastic it was dining at Dennis Taverna. Friendly service, smiling faces, beautiful music, and then a special treat to enjoy watching two dancers swing along. If you want a food experience, I would 100% recommend this place! I hope to come back again next year. Could not resist I had to share my at the Dennis tavern. First I’d like to add that the Rigatoni that they served here was the best I’ve ever had and the best I’ve had on the island. They serve lamb and also pork belly. The staff at the restaurant are fantastic they went above and beyond.
