Amazing experience with fantastic food and great service! A hidden gem well worth the trip out - don't miss! Highly recommended! I recently visited Grangecon Kitchen, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, calm, and welcoming atmosphere — it’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy some truly delicious food. The food was incredible – everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. And the carrot cake… oh my goodness! It was heart-meltingly delicious – soft, moist, and perfectly spiced, with just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! The staff were amazing – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Their warm smiles and easy conversation made the whole experience even better. It’s clear they take real pride in what they do. Overall, Grangecon Kitchen is a hidden gem that combines delicious food, a lovely calm ambience, and exceptional service. Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee and treat, it’s the kind of place that instantly feels like home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Highly recommend! It was a warm and cozy spot for breakfast/brunch. My partner ordered the brunch burger and really enjoyed it, while I went with the wagyu steak sandwich. For the price, the sandwich was just okay. The portion of meat felt a bit small, and I thought it could’ve used some sauce. Overall though, it was a pleasant experience. Based on who the recommendation came from I knew it would be very good, but boy wasn’t I prepared for the extent to which Grangecon Kitchen hit every single one of my cuisine-related buttons just perfectly. And don’t let the name fool you, it is not just a bakery. First of all the beautiful rural location in this super cute tiny town allows for a transcendent journey to even just get there. Then the clientele: while the food is at spectacular levels easily competing with any upper-end location in major cities, you do sit in a tent on simple benches and for that pleasure, you wait eternities to just get in. Great filter to avoid self-obsessed people. And let me tell you, it was worth every second of the wait. If I started to describe every item of food we had I would exceed the character limits for reviews, but just so much: I’m a passionate eater and not particularly a big fan of hash browns. They way Grangecon kitchen transforms these rather bland breakfast items into culinary revelations is mindblowing: super crispy outside, light fluffy on the inside, just the right pinch of granulated sea salt - the wild garlic mayo that comes with it is also amazing but just the hash browns on their own; not in a million years would I have expected to enjoy them that much. The burger came with a herbal dressing that, to my surprise, works perfectly with meat and eggs. No amount of superlatives could be enough to describe the geniality that is Grangecon Kitchen. Highly recommend going there if you get the chance! Wonderful unique eatery in the middle of the countryside in a teepee tent. It’s a popular place as inspired by social media. A reservation is really required for here particularly on a Friday or any day in fine good summer sun weather. I had a reservation, but the queuing system on entry is an awkward affair you have to pass through the people with no reservation in order to be looked after. Maybe that could be improved upon to have a system in place. Anyway I was looked after fairly promptly. The server was friendly, warm and welcoming. The service was quick and efficient. The iced matcha was so good and tasty along with the berry pancakes, very generous size meal, filling. The teepee is surprisingly airy with great ventilation. It’s beautiful, relaxed even though it was busy and with a hustle and bustle about the place. The cafe next door the coffee is great got an Americano for takeaway. Reasonably priced. It’s nice to see the Irish countryside providing the goods. Would totally recommend! Ah what a little stunning place with great food and super team working there. No wonder there was so many people queuing to get in ! Recommend !!! First time here on the recommendation of a friend and i certainly will be back,we had the Turkish eggs and Brunch Burger with Hash browns as a side and everything was absolutely delicious, really loved the hash browns,i didn’t want to share them. The eggs were different but amazing and the burger wasn’t anything like the usual burgers really nice. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant, loved it. Went there for brunch, and while the queue can be a real test of patience, the food always makes it worth it. Everything is consistently delicious and top quality. We've been multiple times, and it never disappoints We originally came here on a spur of the moment trip one Sunday when we were hungry and thought we would try it. Depending on the time and day you go, you may need to wait for a seat, but it is absolutely worth it. It is probably one of the only food places I would happily wait for a table at even in the rain! The location is beautiful and even better when it’s a sunny day. The inside of the tent is decorated with plants and flowers. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful even when they are fully seated and people are waiting. The food is definitely the best that we have ever had, we will use any excuse to come back here to eat again. Everything is fresh, local and prepared amazingly, full of flavor and the portions are great. In the shop, they have desserts, pastries and freshly made meals in their fridge. We have even come out here to get one of their lasagnas and also a chicken pie for lunch. No matter how many times I’ve been here or what I get I’m always impressed and want to come back as soon as possible. Well done to all the staff and the cooks who work here for creating something honestly amazing! If you are considering coming here for food or even stopping into the shop for food to take away I couldn’t recommend it more! First visit here Saturday morning, what a lovely experience. Spotless quirky and the food was amazing I had the Turkish eggs, first time and I was not disappointed. The staff and service was second to none, very attentive. Thank you I'm really looking forward to returning soon. What I like about this place is that the menu always changes with the seasons. I might only come here three or four times a year but every time there's something new. We had a lovely leek, cabbage and chorizo hash with locally sourced potatoes (new on the menu this season) and the staple pancakes which never let you down. Warm and friendly service with a smile as always.
