Boka Waterfall Viewpoint

To reach this you have to stop at the hotel boka parking lot. It's right after the road that goes to Cezsoca. From the hotel it's around a 20-minute walk uphill on a not too difficult hike. The elevation is not too bad but it's nice to have a nice set of lungs if you wanna do it in one sitting. From the the to the is amazing. My only concern was that it was too far away from the waterfall. Very nice waterfall. You can park right next on the street and walk up there. First Point is quite easy to reach. From there you can hole to the upper Point which is quite hard and far but definitely worth it (perfekt from above the waterfall) An easy 15-20 minute climb to the though a hand railing in some places would have been appreciated. We were here early in the morning, before 9:00 so it wasn't busy at all. The here isn't all that different/better from the road but it was nice to be out of the car. A short, rewarding walk to see one of Slovenia’s most powerful waterfalls. The Boka is especially impressive after rain, with a massive drop and roaring sound. The is easy to reach and offers great photo angles. There are signs explaining the geology and hydrology, which add context. Not overly crowded, and there’s a small parking area nearby. Quick stop, big impact. If you are in Bovec area then this is MUST SEE. 😉 Great little hike. A few minutes up to the viewing platform of the fall, although very good views from the right bit of the road too. We went up a bit higher and followed what seemed to be a path. Turned right at the signpost pointing up towards slap boka and continued about 10 minutes. On the right there is a kind of path which you can scramble up (not too difficult but don't do if you don't like heights) which was fairly easy and we were rewarded with beautiful views. Would recommend this extra bit if you're happy for a bit of a scramble Absolutely worth the 15 minute hike. There are parking spaces next to the hotel or right before the bridge. Overall really recommended and it's only a 10 minute car ride from Bovec. Short 15 - 20 minute from the nearby parking lot (depending on how fast you hike). A fair amount of stairs, but a nice path.
