I only tried the coffee, the food looked great but I can't comment on that! The served here was not good. The waitress didn't seem to know the difference between a flat white and late. I got served burnt tasting and loads of extra hot milk. I even asked the waitress if she was sure that's for me as it doesn't look like a flat white (it wasn't). At least it was cheap! They also don't do iced despite having ice, and syrups. It's a shame, as everything else looked good. But they really need to up their game. Amazing food. We were on our way from the beach and was craving for some food and chose this place. Honestly, we weren't disappointed at all. Try their Soy lemon chicken strips with chips. Great fun. The staff are very good, you might have to wait for a bit to be seated but the wait would be worth it. I stopped by here on the way to Dublin. First off, I love me a garden center. When they serve food, it’s a sweet bonus. I was able to get a seat right away, it was consistent with regulars. Not only was I able to get a meal, they sold seeds!! Food was good, service was good, folks eating next to me struck up a conversation. Just a night small town breakfast joint. The place itself was just awesome and faultless. Food and service were great as their port, the best one i had in ages. Their deserts were in large portions as well. Unfortunately our company did make the experience less profound, so travel wisely with your mates guys. We went there twice/thrice somewhere in Dec 2020 as we're in Fethard, just before the full lockdown. They still had the mask and social distancing rule in place for indoor diners. And the place was regularly cleaned and you can see it was popular with the locals as well. So, well worth the trip if you're down there. Tables were sticky. Place felt dirty and old fashioned. Hardware supplies hanging up on one wall and stuff everywhere. Pulled pork was dry as a bone. Coleslaw was "substituted " with 1.5 baby potatoes rubbed around in some mayo and called "potato salad". Lamb dinner dry . Curry served in a bowl I haven't seen served that way since the 90s. Staff not very personable, but to be fair very young. Overall felt fairly cheated out of my money. It’s a cute little cafe in a small quaint town. Food is delectable and the pricing apt. Cozy ambience and over all it’s a unique experience. You would mostly see the locals who would frequent this place but any passerby’s would also pop in a for a bite. They were very generous with their portions. Their in house desserts were mouthwatering and a delightful treat. The many reviews prompted us to stop here. The café promises more from the outside than it delivers on the inside. The facade is nicely designed, and flowers are for sale. The interior is more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. The wooden benches and tables are functional, no frills, and unfortunately very sticky. There was visible old rubbish under our table (napkins and food scraps), but that didn't seem to bother anyone. The café also serves as a hardware store, with one wall completely lined with items for sale. Drinks are kept in bottles in a fridge; there is no beer or cider. The food wasn't quite what we expected, but it was okay, and the portions were generous. Great for an evening snack, but if you want fine dining, this is the wrong place. What a lovely find of a cafe. We stopped for some brunch/lunch during a sight seeing trip around Wexford. The staff were pleasant and very efficient. The food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. We had an open crab sandwich and a toasted special. Both came with a delicious salad. The desserts looked tasty but we were full from the very portion sizes. We would definitely return!
