At the beginning of Ljubotić village turn left towards Knin and follow the asphalt road. When the asphalt turns right before Marasovine village dont turn right but continue straight forward on the sandy road. At the end of sandy you will find parking at the right side. Park there and continue to walk down the hill. When you reach the ruins you there are stairs before ruins that will lead you to the river and waterfall view point. This spectacular waterfall is often overlooked, compared to Skradinski buk. It isn't that big, but you can admire the power of nature from a closer distance, often alone. A good trail leads to this gem, so spare two hours for the trip. Absolutely loved it! A short, but steep rocky path down. Our adventurous 3 and 5 year olds managed no problem. Room for about 5 or 6 cars to park at the top of the path. No facilities here. Awesome! We were the only visitors, no entrance fee. It’s about a 400 meter trek from the parking, but well worth it. The water is really cold, and will refresh you on a hot day. It does take some adjustment time 🥶. Definitely recommend! Oh yeah, there is a large dog that hangs out there, very friendly and loves belly rubs. Secret spot with very little tourists. The waterfall is amazing. A really nice dog followed us all the way from the parking spot down. The path down is quite rocky and steep at some points, so bring good shoes. There are some picknick tables along the path. You don't want to miss this. We will definitely be coming back here. The hidden gem of the river Krka. If you have the opportunity, be sure to visit this little piece of paradise. Surrounded by lush green vegetation and fast waterfalls, the remains of old mills that people used to produce flour can still be seen. Slightly braver adventurers can crawl into the old ruins and experience up close all the charm of this place. In the summer it is possible to bathe, who can stand cold water. The river is so clean that you can drink from it. We had a great experience coming here with a tractor from the nearby village of Marasovine. A really nice quiet waterfall to visit . A lovely footpath down the valley to the site, there is a little stairwell on the left right near the bottom that we almost missed last 10m was a scrambled around some tree roots but the rope made it pretty straight forward . Just note : if you are following Google maps and travelling by car it will lead you through Ljubotić village . The last few kilometres is a dirt track , bumpy and quite narrow. There is a much better heading east from the falls that only Apple maps picks up at the moment Incredible spot! We were the only ones there and accompanied by the local dog, beautiful waterfall! The water is freezing, only the brave will go for a swim! I did!
