The Roundwood Stores

Roundwood, Ireland Cafe

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A must if you are doing hiking around Wiclow mountains! Cozy place and organic , local and delicious food. I Will come back! We were in Dublin for a long weekend and this place was one of the best parts of it. We had a rental car for a day and wanted to drive through the Glendalough Park to Kildare. Looking for a stop along the way, we saw the reviews for this cafe and decided to try it. We are so glad we did. We had breakfast here and took some time to decide what to have because of the great offer. The young lady behind the counter was simply delightful and made us feel wonderfully welcome. We decided for the sourdough toast and the jam was so good that we promptly bought a bottle to take with us. The croissant was amazing too -and after that we were too full to try any of the sandwiches which looked amazing. The atmosphere is cosy and very nice - we sat indoors since it was a tad chilly in the morning. We liked the place so much that we took a detour on the way back and stopped here for coffee :) Had we had a rental car throughout our stay, we would have been back every day! We will be back - this place deserves a 5 star rating :) Excellent food choices and Bakery, fresh bread and wines and excellent local goods too from honey, what, vegetables and pestos. Theres pottery, candles and toiletries and the list goes on. I come here whenever I visit from the UK. The staff are so friendly. They're never overwhelmed even when it gets super busy, which it often is. Its a MUST if you're in Wicklow. Outdoor and indoor seating, both heated. Sadly. ,I can't take pictures of any of the food. I ate it too quickly😂 Not just a sandwich shop - worth a drive. Everything about the food here is incredible. From the bread, (focaccia has to be had), to the little details like the salad dressing, nothing is anything but exemplary. It’s a hustling and bustling, busy cafe. But you can generally get a seat. Simply put - the food is delicious. Recommend the soup, and ham & Brie sandwich, and any of the salads. Had a fantastic breakfast at The Roundwood Stores – delicious food in a stunning little spot. The bread and farm stall is beautifully stocked with fresh, local produce. A real gem – don’t miss it! This is a fantastic place for coffee and brunch. Last time, we were there at the busiest of times on a Sunday, and service was still fast and friendly. The food was amazing. Special thanks to Paula, who was helpful, cheerful, and kind with the kids. 5 stars are not enough for this gem! The tastiest, freshest food, from local farms and producers, in a lovely traditional style building, served by the friendliest staff. Will keep coming back !!! 🤩 We took a delicious breakfast here, the place is cosy, comfy and decorated with much elegance. People are very welcoming. I highly recommend.
