Generally a good campsite. As others have stated, the facilities are dated. Showers are fine but did all stop working at one stage for a few hours. Pitches for tents could be marked better as its ends up with people not being spaced out properly. The location is perfect though, Roundwood is a lovely village. It’s a lovely peaceful spot! Beautiful grounds surrounded by trees, so it felt really private and not overlooked. The pitches are well spaced out and the whole place has a relaxed vibe. Perfect location too, loads of gorgeous walks nearby and just a short stroll into Roundwood village. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay again! A gem of a find! Wonderful lady running reception, she takes care of all the daily cleaning & always had a happy & pleasant demeanor... Toilet facilities are outdated but clean! Plenty of hot water with the use of a €2 token for 6 minutes. Kitchen area is also very old but again it is clean. Plenty seating area in the dining area of the kitchen. Plots are spacious but unfortunately there is a slope throughout the park making it inconvenient depending where one's parked. Overall Roundwood is a fantastic little village with the best ever Roundwood Stores cafe...the tastiest food ever...another gem in Roundwood! A 5/7 min walk from the caravan park to the village. *For any Guinness drinkers, a visit to Kavanaghs Bar & Restaurant in Roundwood village is most certainly a must! Devine...
