Take an amazing immersed in nature's beauty. Small car parks are nearby, but be mindful of narrow roads when driving. Wander along shaded trails at your own gentle pace. Note that designated bike trails await cyclists, so let's share the path with care. And when you're ready, unwind at the nearby café, where warmth and refreshment await. The forest itself is monoculture and sad but the views around the area are incredible and the is easy enough. They have outhouses at the parking lot and a few vendors selling coffee and food. Simply breathtaking.. must say the weather was amazing too. There is an extra , much larger parking slot about 100 meter further down from the top of the walk.. so if u can't find a slot at the top , pop down to the base of the walk.. you will find great coffee and snacks there too A great spot for a among beautiful scenery. Famous Logh Tay with its great views only 2 minutes from the car park. And the wood walks itself are just amazing. Get ready for some uphill walk, but doable even with smaller children. Just a blast when the weather is nice I took my parents and my father-in-law to the Ballinastoe Woods walk, and they loved it! It’s a beautiful, scenic place featuring a wooden boardwalk surrounded by tall trees on both sides. Here are a few key points to consider: - No tickets are required; it’s free to visit. - There aren’t dedicated parking lots, but there are multiple roadside parking spaces available. - The best time to visit in the summer is early morning or during the morning hours. I wouldn't recommend this for elderly individuals with joint pains, as the path is rough and includes an uphill section before you reach the woods. It was an incredible experience. I visited the place with two of my friends. The location is not too far from the car park, and the hike is not too challenging. Everyone can enjoy the beautiful view within a 10-15 minute from the car park. I highly recommend it to everyone. No ticket 🎟️ !!! Lovely around the forest. Looks like it was taken out of a movie. We found a group of Sika Deer (apparently a significant pest around Ireland) but were fantastic to watch. There are some car parks nearby Everyone absolutely must see these views – they are simply incredible. Don’t be afraid to climb up – it’s not as hard as it seems. Just make sure to dress warmly and be ready to be blown away by the beauty☘️🥰 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
