We rented a trailer on the park through a private renter. The lakes are really highlights of the park. One is dedicated to fishing and the other to swimming and diving. A diving school is on site with air charging facilities. The park itself could use some renovation which a start seems to have been made on the restaurant however the petting zoo and playground could certainly use this as well. The restaurant offers simple meals and pizzas, it is easily accessible and rarely very busy. The menu does not offer healthy choices it also does not cater much to vegetarians outside of a pizza or deep fried snack. The latter is also the mainstay of the menu. For better food the town of zuidlaren is 5 minutes or less away and advisable over the restaurant. The village is certainly worth a visit on its own as well.
