Nice enough gym and pool. Free access via staying at the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed two visits to this well run community asset, when we recently stayed the night in Westport in our motorhome. The morning aqua aerobic class we did with Dee was fabulous, as she is definitely one of the best Instructors we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only she is a competent, entertaining and motivational Instructor, Dee is a lovely human being who has a strong following at all of her classes, as the day we attended her class, there was over 30 participants! The facility has lots of extra services such as a cool water pool, sauna, steam room and of course a lovely 25m indoor heated pool. Thank you for the great experience, it made our visit to Westport very memorable. Shaz & Daz 🇦🇺 As a first time to the leisure centre, receptionist was very helpful explained everything that was available.all questions were answered and more. The pools temperature is perfect life guard also very good with kids, is good large size as is the steam room. This review is only for the and sauna. Dirty changing rooms with small and rather dirty showers and lockers (1€). Hair dryers cost extra. and steam room are included in the 9€ entry-fee and seemed to be fine but a bit smelly. Parking is limited right in front of the park. is really friendly. Only used the gym so far as I'm a fat Old man trying to get a little fitness & health back. I'll venture in the once the risk of harpooning has gone, but excellent facility so far! It's clean, warm, well maintained. The tiles on the floor are slippy, not the case in other pools and no private shower cubicles, all open plan unfortunately, are and attentive. Lovely pool, sauna, steam room, and plunge pool, very clean and nice staff. The area has been newly re-tiled. Always visit many times a week when I'm staying with family in town. Lovely, and helpful and life guards. The is fantastic with easy access and the disabled changing facilities are always clean. 5 stars. Great gym good range of machines and weights and decent amount of space. €9 for a day pass. I went ealry on a Saturday and couldn’t use the change rooms or because of kids using the so I suggest going a bit later in the day if you want to use the other stuff. Przeciętnie, żeby nie powiedzieć kiepsko. Szatnie pytały o sprzątaczkę bo nie widziały jej z dwa tygodnie Family (2adults, 5yr old, 4yr old, 1.5yr old). Nice and nice facility in terms of cleanliness and baby / large BUT they have a lot of strict rules to the point where it ruined our experience and we definitely would not go back. It felt like we were constantly being told off for incredibly minor things (my 5yr old walked too quickly beside the and was told to slow down. I was followed into the by a member and told I wasn’t allowed to leave my perfectly capable husband in the baby with the 3 girls because there has to be 1 adult to every 2 children. I was told I’m not allowed in the deep end of the adult with the 2 older girls and finally - I’m not allowed to be more than an arms length away from the girls in the swimming pool). It was what I imagine going to a in communist Russia must be like. Honestly I do think rules are very important and I’m a very risk averse person, but I found this place totally over the top. I want to be fair and give an extra star because the were nice and would tell you the rules with a smile on their face, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s absolutely no fun to go there as a family. It actually felt as though we were about to be told off for playing with the kids. It’s also €3 more expensive than the one in Castlebar when you take into account the parking. The facilities in castlebar are just as nice and it has a much more laid back atmosphere. Would recommend this as a better alternative for a family with more than 1 child. Incredibly and helpful staff, lifeguard went out her way to give us pointers on our swimming.
