If you are in Westport and around Croak Patrick mountain its a must visit beach. The is very good for a walk and has very colorful pebbles as well. You can spend a quality time here with friends, family and pets. Nice spot for star gazing and sunsets Lovely little - a tiny peninsula jutting out in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. Toilets are open & functioning & there's a wonderful coffee truck serving hot drinks, though no food. The is fully accessible on one side - the other side is entirely pebbles - but in low tide there's a generous expanse of sand. Beautiful a short drive from Westport. Recommendes to take the alternative, scenic road out from the town. Lovely strand with pebbles and sand. Parking area and toilets, but height barrier. There’s a small parking area before the height barrier for motorhomes. Very beautiful place to walk, just under the mountain St.Patrick. Stony, but views are amazing Beautiful beach! mountains, sheep and carpark nearby itself is good and Scenery is great however during my visit the water had thousands of jellyfish and order of magnitude more than the other beaches I've been too lately, probably won't visit again.
