Didn't totally love the beers, but they were good. The food was good and service was too. Great food and an amazing beer selection at Mickey Finns Pub in Wicklow! The prices are very reasonable too – just €5.00 for a pint, which is a nice surprise these days. Every dish we tried was really tasty, so we can definitely the food. The only letdown was the staff – not rude, but not particularly friendly either. However, the biggest downside by far were the toilets. Unfortunately, they were extremely dirty – honestly one of the dirtiest we’ve seen in Ireland so far, which really took away from the overall experience. Would still go back for the food and drinks, but the hygiene situation definitely needs serious improvement. What can I say , I’ve traveled all around the world tried so many different restaurants and right here on my doorstep is one of the best, let’s start with the beer they brew their own and my favourite is the Heles lager hope I spelled it right, 5€ a pint , now to the food … you won’t leave here hungry we love the prawns and the chicken wings for starters the best I’ve had anywhere else in the world, the chef’s specials this week was Duck with a chocolate sauce believe me it sounds crazy but wooooooow sooo delicious and beautiful, the Chef loves cooking food and brings his own style in his specials he loves what he does and you can tell by the food and imagine all this at a very reasonable price , now let’s get to the waiters and staff , they can’t do enough for you so helpful and very good at what they do , they take care of you and are always making sure you have everything you need , what a hidden gem in the beautiful town of Redcross , I would highly this Restaurant and even if you had to look for accommodation just to eat here you won’t be disappointed, I thought of not leaving a review because I want to keep my special place for myself, definitely my favourite Food is really good. Great choice of beers. Service is terrible. Waiting for a beer on sun over 30min just to find out that a waiter forgot to put order through. After that waiter forgets two times item we ordered. Glass a water took over 15min. After that makes you walk to a bar to pay a bill. The staff needs a serious training. Excellent food here , the chef is very talented. I really it , everything was absolutely decilous. Busy place, got a table no problem. Fish and chips was top notch. Starters were excellent , Prawns, mussels ,brie. Definitely recommend. Doesn't disappoint. Lovely food in Mickey Finns pub after doing a tour of the Wicklow brewery. The menu pairs the beers from the brewery with specific meals nicely. Would definitely trying the St Kevin’s Red Ale or Hopnut. 10/10 all round, from customer service to the food, unbelievable. There own beer is deadly, very refreshing. I had a fantastic experience at Mickey Finn’s Gastro Pub! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. We also joined a brewery tour where they showed us how their local beer is crafted, and the gentleman leading it was exceptionally kind and engaging. I highly this place to anyone visiting the area!
