Nice location. Be careful that everything closes at 20:00 ( even the restaurants) . I have arrived at 21 and I was lucky that a restaurant gave me a soup to take away even if the were closed. Rimetea is one of those magical places I always love returning to. Surrounded by stunning mountains, it’s perfect for hiking and climbing, with views that take your breath away. The itself is incredibly charming, full of traditional architecture and beautifully preserved houses that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. One of my favorite things is grabbing delicious langos from a roadside stand, or enjoying an amazing Hungarian-style meal in one of the local restaurants. Authentic, and full of flavor food. If you’re looking for peace, natural beauty, and a taste of real Transylvanian culture, Rimetea is an unforgettable destination. Highly recommended! One of the most beautiful villages in Transylvania, truly! Authentic, kind people living in traditional houses and spectacular scenery, if you are in the area, it's a must! A small with a breathtaking view. In the "city center" there are some few amenities that you can enjoy in your stroke or just take a sir and enjoy the view. Walking in the is mainly on the main road, is not that pleasent, but you can always take a ride along the bottom of the rocky mountain. It worths the drive until the but you don't have anything to do for more than 2 hours. There are a lot of accomodations I'm the village, in rustic houses from that area Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Transylvania, Rimetea is a charming that offers a tranquil retreat amidst stunning natural beauty. Known for its distinctive white houses with green window shutters and red-tiled roofs, Rimetea exudes a timeless charm that captivates visitors. The is surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Visitors can explore scenic hiking trails that lead to breathtaking viewpoints, wander through the cobblestone streets lined with colorful flowers, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this idyllic village. Rimetea also boasts a rich cultural heritage, with traditional crafts and folklore that offer a glimpse into the region's storied past. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or a serene escape, Rimetea is a hidden gem in Transylvania that promises an authentic Romanian experience. Conacul Secuiului. Rametea. Highly recommended. For children and adults. Outside Sauna and jacuzzi. Local and traditional flavour for furniture and food. Very pleasant personnel. Clean and a real quality as a full entertainment concept. Away of crowded city Gorgeous houses but the locals' surliness and disdain for tourists (all of us Hungarian speakers) is palpable and perplexing. Examples: no eating at the two tables out front, only drinks; "No, I can't reserve this table for 2 minutes while you go next door and bring your wlderly family member."; "We've been making lángos for 20 years with yeast, not sourdough." I've been coming to Torockó for over 30 years and remember when there were virtually no amenities for tourists. Now, it's less authentic, but if you're going for mass tourism, then open up and celebrate the beauty of your village. You could make people feel great and probably enjoy the vendéglátás too. Unexpectedly quaint and lovely place, with breathtaking nature surrounding it. It's a good place for a couple of days of disconnection from the city's stressful pace. Highly recommended for those who love the outdoors. Fit for small children, as well. Be mindful there is poor mobile network reception in the area. Plan ahead. The best place ever I was visiting till now. For us, the stop at Rimetea in June 2023 was superb. We only visited the center of the town and we liked it very much, especially because on that day there was also a local celebration called Danube Day or "Duna Nap" in Hungarian. Twenty years ago, the locals chose to restore the brilliance of the village, just as it once was. The result is exceptional, hats off. I recommend a visit in any season. כפר י A very beautiful and nice village. Stunning view. Great place to visit for the authentic transilvanian culture. The buildings are vey well preserved and the architecture is beautiful. I recommend going to the Secuiu’s rock hike Beautiful place with terrible hospitality. Waiters not allocating needs, having attitude. Tried 3 places, all the same. High prices, low quality. A shame… Artisanal shop Kovász owner Zsuzsa made the trip for us as the only normal person who treated us kindly. She deserves 4 stars Nice place, good for hiking but also Double Rise Festival is a very good way to spend time. Nice place for 1 or 2 days with your kids: great food, a god walk on the rocks of the A nice place immersed in nature offers a lot of activities such as tracking, rafting paragliding and more and more. The small town has amazing and typical house. Cozy, small village, beautiful. A little bit overcrowded as it was Sunday and no parking spots. People should park the cars outside the village, just a person opiniom :) Rimitea is an amazing place to visit, cool views, and really amazing hiking trails Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
