The elevation and some segments of the trail are demanding but the peace of nature and the amazing landscape will make the difference. Unfortunately there is no marked parking plot, neither a proper maintenance of the signaling. It is a lovely place with spectacular scenery although you can find a lot of trash and rubbish on the field. It is a shame no one is taking care of the nature... One of the most beautiful places in Alba County. If you drive through Aiud, it is worth taking a short deviation just to see it for yourself. It is about 30 minutes away from the town and I’d call it vitamin for the soul. Definitely not what I was expecting! A touristic place, it can be hiked from the castle located in Cheile Vălișoarei. The hike is not long. The place in general is magnificent! Excelent hiking area, you can choose between different routes but all of them are gorgeous. Worth to try and enjoy the nature! This place is underrated. We did not go there with high expectations, but we found it way more interesting than expected. If you are looking for 3-4 hours hike with a nice view, this is the place. There are 2 circuits (left side and right side) and you can do both in one day or you can visit this place twice as we did.
