Nice place to take rest after nice hike, have a drink to refresh or to get warm, nice shelter if the weather goes bad... The mountain hut is closed during winter times (even from November 1st onwards), which is reasonable. Regardless, position is great, massive viewpoint is near, hiking trails are very clear and I'm sure that they make great stew like every other mountain hut when they are open! The "Planinarski Dom" itself could really be in a better shape. The path to it from south is ok and in a good shape, so it is the path from it to the west (Krapina) as well. If you hike there you should have good and water proof hiking boots. Nice place with fine stuff and good people... Awesome when people are there and it's actually open.
