Don't know what happened here. We visited 6 or 7 years ago and it was awesome- from food and rooms to service. Our last visit was less then stellar. We didn't spend the night but came just for a lunch this time and food was not that good. First time everything was nicely prepared and delicious, this time it was barely passable. The portions were big, I'll give them that. Staff were nice and friendly. I'm not going to lower the rating because I'm still hoping we just came ona bad day. Great place to eat with friend and familly. Really good food, home made appetizer and drink wrapped in awesome interior for nice atmosphere. Recommend. The food was prepered perfectly....I suggest it even if it is not just by the way, worth of driving few kilometer. This is an excellent stop for a meal while visiting Krapina or Veliki Tabor. The food is exceptional, offering generous and flavorful portions, and the atmosphere is charmingly rustic. I highly recommend this establishment; however, it’s advisable to call ahead, as it tends to get quite busy around lunchtime. We haven’t stayed in a room, but we have visited the restaurant twice. The food is always delicious. We had the same waiter both times and he is very nice. The atmosphere was great on Valentine’s Day. They had heart balloons for the guests to take.
