You can use the little footbridge or simply wade across the river for the little walk to get there. For me this is far too touristic and busy. The is clear of course as almost everywhere in Crete. However a surprise was the miniature buildings as we were going in, which any kids (and playful adults!) in your group will enjoy Lovely beach, we came here around 16:30 and the was still quite busy but we managed to find a plot and put up our parasol and lay our towels. There are sunbeds for hire which I believe were €8 for a set of two, I could be wrong however. The here is really clear and had parts that were really warm and cold, but very refreshing! There’s a lovely church to the right with a Greek flag flying next to it that makes this place a really to bathe at.
