Really great with great food options, a chill atmosphere, not overly crowded and a fantastic line up. The only bad thing was the amount of people using camping chairs sitting so close to the stages especially after dark those things were death traps. They need to be only allowed in certain areas. A crackin wee festival, for me it's only 20 min drive from home. Great vibe, family friendly and decent lineup. For the most part it's older punters with a come together mindset. Camping chairs are a blessing for older bones, it appears that approx 3/4 of the clientele use them. Top 1/4 of the arena were for most part chair free and the remainder 3/4 more like seated event. That's cool though because the majority on the same wavelength and younger punters might just not get it... Yet! I can ascertain that the tradeoff for camping chair type punters is some of the best portaloo facilities I've ever come across on the circuit and this year no different. Regularly cleaned, plenty of toilet roll and zero stink. The appeal of these speaks volumes about the maturity of the crowd! The general campsite was for sure more organised this year (2025) and had more food options, picnic tables, showers and toilets. The majority of goers brought an open mind and their happy buzz... To those opposed, hmmmm well 😎💚 The organisers don't get enough credit for this. From start to finish it was brilliant. Highlights for me were Qween and walk the line and bad manners and tony Hadley the way they interact with the crowd. Great Festival! Very well run, good music. Looked after from the Campsite and the site. Well organised, the best band lineups year after year, polite civilised attendees, craft beer and great food selection - Best weekend for all types of lovers! Couldn't recommend enough! It was a great time! The parking and camping area is a bit far from the arena, but other than that it was fine. We only went for the Saturday, so can't comment on the camping facilities. a superb family friendly with great acts for an 80s and 90s nostalgia. other themes include ttad and dance One of the best Irish festivals. From the bands, Manic Street Preachers, Travis, Franz Ferdinand, The Farm to Irish acts there is something for everyone across all the stages. Food and drink vendors are all excellent. A real family friendly chilled festival.
