Batonies is a gem twinkling in the heart of Ireland in Emo Laois. We were at ForestFest 2023, and Batonis offered breakfast on each morning of the festival something they don't normally do. They were run off their feet trying to cater to all who appeared at their door. The food was fabulous 😋 - the service excellent, the staff friendly and to be able to sit in a lovely comfortable chair out of the unending rain that weekend was a godsend. They graciously let us charge our phones while we ate (there were no charging facilities at the festival) and let us order cappacinos to drink in their lovely courtyard after we had finished breakfast. They were total lifesavers. We will definitely be back to dine in the evening as having wonderful Italian food in the heart of Laois is a joy to my soul! Amazing place! The service was outstanding, with all staff being friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. Risotto Beef was out of this world The food and atmosphere were exceptional, the staff very nice Creamy soup, divine. Fabulous pizza and dessert, worth trying. Everything is superlative. We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary there, a couple of weeks ago The food, service, atmosphere, and place were all top class The lamb shank was fabulous 👌 Genuinely enjoyed our meal and the courtyard was beautiful for having photos taken Absolutely fantastic meal today at Batonis. I want to pay credit to the staff who were all wonderfully friendly and I must say that the service was very fast considering they were catering for a large function at the same time- we didn’t wait over long for the food and it was excellent quality and really well presented. Thank you for a great experience we will be sure to come back. The team in Batoni’s are really attentive and the food is super. While ordering from the menu, I mentioned in passing that it was my partner’s birthday and then, lo and behold, a number of the staff unexpectedly arrived over to our table after our main course with a dessert and a candle and they all sang happy birthday! Super attention to detail!! We’ll be back to visit them again for sure! Delicious food — we really enjoyed our dinner! I had the fish of the day, which was sea bass — it was really tasty.
