Can't tell you how much I love this place when ever I'm in Laois..family time 9 of us service was great food was Fab & dessert was delicious as always get my favourite.. 😋 100% A great-looking menu with a variety of yummy dishes. The service was excellent. We ordered starters, mains, drinks and dessert, and they came out at just the right time between chats and chow. When we discovered that the kinder bathtub that used to be on the menu was discontinued, they said they were able to make one for us. Needless to say, the whole lot of us ate that ice-cream like lil kids! Tysm for the good food, good service and good memories - will def come back again. We tried Make & Mark Sunday for the first time. We didn’t realise booking was required but we were seated within in 5 mins. The portion sizes were huge and I couldn’t fault any of the food. I was a bit worried about the spiciness of the nachos as I love nachos but can’t handle too much spice these were perfect. I had the honey chili chicken for main I thought it was a bit dry but that my personal taste only no reflection on the food. It is a little more expensive than our normal meals out but the portions were very big so it’s kinda understandable. The food was so delicious! I took cheese and bacon burger and was savage! And also cocktails.. no words needed, worth the price, you can actually taste the alcohol what I like. Everything was just perfect! 2 of us arrived and even though they were mad busy. The lovely staff fit us in for some food and gave us a gorgeous roast beef dinner. I'd highly recommend here for food for anyone passing or in the area. We had a family meal here 2 weeks ago where a milkshake was ordered, it came out in a tankard style glass (pictured) so felt reasonable for the price of nearly €10, another visit a couple of days ago and the milkshake was delivered in a normal glass (pictured also) which would be about half the size of the first one, when we asked staff about it they stated it was because the tankards kept breaking in the washer. We then queried if it was the same price to which they replied yes. To charge customers €10 for a glass is an absolute disgrace. On top of that the food was subpar of hard chips that I’d imagine are reheated as well as a stale burger bun and burnt meat in the burger. Overall a very experience yet underwhelming experience Excellent food and great service! We had the vegan mains and dessert, unbelievably tasty and huge portions. Our son had fish and chips, with a Nutella sundae, great portion size again and he loved it! All the staff are really friendly. Staff is friendly and setup is nice, food for Adults are decent, however the food you guys are serving to is ridiculous, burger bun was burnt and crumbly (not generally liked by kids) chicken goujons was so dry i had to break it apart just to find the edible bits, it's not that difficult to crumb a fresh chicken fillet rather than using frozen goujons bought from Musgraves. I don't understand why the same attention is not given to the food.
