Loved this place, they have plenty of space around this plaza such as for car, buses, caravan, lorry etc. Lots of facilities for example petrol station, toilets, washroom, space etc. There are various cafe and fast food restaurants that you can choose. Easy access from M7. Such a warm and welcoming environment! Handy stop for heading south. Toilets,(clean) Carvery, Supermacks, coffee bar, and shop. Can be busy but "geared" for it. Plenty seating and seating upstairs too. Wheelchair friendly. Outside plenty area for and no height restrictions for MH ! On south side of Portloise town !! I was planning to stop by Applebee’s 🐝, but I ended up here at Portlaoise Plaza instead. It’s extremely crowded and has a bit of an unpleasant smell. There are plenty of food options to choose from — I went for a sub. The lot is huge, which is a plus, but overall I’d recommend heading to the nearby Applebee’s instead. It’s less busy, cleaner, and much more comfortable. It's a nice place to get some rest while you're traveling on the motorway. There is loads of place for free parking. There is gas station. Loads of options for food like burgers, pizza, rolls, coffee. There is public toilets of course. They have a nice collection of fridge magnets in the Spar. Recommended place to take a break while traveling on the motorway for long journeys. Terrible service at the Spar store on the Texico gas station.We complained to the manager about how inconvenient the cafeteria area is, but she completely ignored us. It's unclear who these people are working for, but they clearly have no interest in making things comfortable for their customers. The service here was absolutely appalling. I ordered a burger and curry chips. I can't even say that it took 30 minutes, because after 30 minutes it still wasn't even being prepared and I had to cancel my order. My daughter ordered an ice cream. She was one of two people in the line and it took over 15 minutes. I don't say this out of spite, but the employees were extremely slow. I stood withing viewing distance of the counter and the employees were chatting, handing out incorrect orders several times even to the same people, and not paying any sort of attention or consideration to the customers. I have to say I am extremely disappointed and this has completely put me off ever returning. I would not recommend.
