The area is very beautiful, the large lake and the forests and fields around. You can swim, fish and do various watersports like kayaking, paddle boarding etc. But you have to bring your own equipment, there is nothing around to rent. The entrance to the water is smooth and sandy so it's suitable for children. Water is reasonably clean. There is a "camping" that charges for entry (5 lei per person and 10 per car) but doesn't really provide much besides a toilet and some trashcans. You can camp with a tent overnight. But you can actually stay for free by literally going around the lake to the other side, there is a large grassy area similar to the paid area only wild. It can get crowded and people tend to blast music so your experience might vary depending on your neighbors. Overall definitely recommend for a nice day sunbathing and swimming. Silent place very good for fishing, camping, kayaking and swimming. Nice place the biggest downside to it is the toilets absolutely horrible and smell and not cleaned at all and locks on the toilets don't work and can be human feces all over the floor and the music at 3am and 4am and 5am is so so loud so if camping there on the weekend absolutely you will not recieve any sleep. There is a bar onsite. Nice people and cheap prices only open Saturday and Sundays, and they also serve food Very sunny place. But you need to pay to have a barbecue there.
