Panagiotis and his staff are excellent and very helpful and the is superb, especially in Lindos. Having dived in Crete, Corfu, Cyprus and Malta this is by far my best in the Med. I recently had the pleasure of with Big center, From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The entire team is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about and marine life, which made the both educational and thrilling. The equipment provided was top-notch, well-maintained, and made me completely safe throughout my dives. Our master was exceptional—patient, attentive, and highly skilled at guiding us through some of the most breathtaking underwater landscapes I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, their personalized approach ensures that everyone feels comfortable and gets the most out of their dive. What truly set this apart was the beauty of the sites. Crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and an astonishing variety of marine life, from colorful to majestic sea turtles—it felt like being in a different world. The center’s knowledge of the best spots, coupled with their respect for the environment, made each unforgettable. Overall, my with Big center was nothing short of magical. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the underwater wonders with them! We did our first today and I am glad that we chose Big Fish. We was quite anxious about the at first as it was new to us, but Alexandrou is a very knowledgeable instructor and straight after the initial briefing he made us very safe. His approach is very individual you can tell it's not all about the money but also about having good and safe - he loves what he does and his passion for is clearly visible. We did a steady preparation, testing how we in the water first, making all the checks and that our masks etc all good and we went in. Dived around the coast guided with the instructor and he made us very comfortable in the water, clearly knows what he was doing. Personally it is a very different than any other. To my partner it felt that it was very quick but for me it felt like a long time. We did see some and it was very beautiful to swim very close to them, felt as you almost touch them. The instructor also took some photos of us in the water as we asked. Overall it fulfilled our expectations and I would encourage everyone to try it! a wonderful to have. a very nice and reassuring instructor. Even for a beginner like me who doesn't speak a word of English, I managed to understand the instructions and enjoy a magical moment with superb fish. I recommend 1000% this structure which will accompany you with a smile as it should regardless of your levels and your language. For my part, they came to pick me up at the hotel and took me there at the end. so nothing to say about perfect 👍☺️. and the little extra they offer you the photos. Fantastic day of diving! Panagiotis is a professional who is a lot of fun! There were two divers (both certified) and two guides. The two guides each had over 100 dives and were training for their Master certification. They were professional, responsive, personable and a lot of fun -- well done ladies! If I am back in Rhodes, it's Big for me! If you are looking to try scuba for the first time, obtain a certification or you are an advanced diver looking for a local guide to help you explore the underwater world while on the island of Rhodes, then look no further. I initially contacted Big via email as I was looking to complete the PADI open water diver course while on holiday. Panagiotis replied immediately, agreeing to instruct me and that he could run the course privately or with another student that was also looking to obtain his PADI open water diver certification. After a simple PayPal transaction to cover the cost of the PADI e-training manual I was all set (although I did have to complete my theory at the hotel as I arranged this last minute). Panagiotis arranged to pick me up from my hotel and explained that we would be in Kallithea Springs which was a perfect location for completing the skills required as well as having numerous and reefs to explore while completing the requirements for the certification. I have previous but I still class myself as a complete beginner. Panagiotis instantly read this and proceeded to explain everything from start to finish ensuring that we completely understood how to set up and operate our equipment, why we carried out our safety checks and how to conduct them safely. Once we had completed the (boring) important stuff ;P we set out for our first dive. Panagiotis is an impeccable instructor and master with a huge amount of local knowledge not to mention being a true people person with an abundance of charisma. This shows as he can simply see if someone is having a problem and is right there to assist. At no point did I (excuse the pun) out of my depth, when I did struggle with something he made me that every other person that had taken the course had had the same problem too. The first was a perfect start we went out to one of the shallow reefs and down to approximately 6m as I think Panagiotis wanted to ensure that we were comfortable with everything before going any deeper. This was more than adequate as the location was thriving with aquatic life. There were shoals of fish, small rainbow wrasse, pufferfish, dorado, striped mullet, sea urchins and even a few sea anemones. The remainder of the course ran smoothly and was as exhilarating as the first day. Panagiotis removed any monotony by keeping the required surface to a conservative minimum, while entertaining us with some of his stories and revealing the odd trade secret which as you can imagine kept the laughter flowing. After with a couple of schools/centres I can honestly say that BigFish Center takes the top spot for numerous reasons in my book, but there is one point that makes BigFish stand way up above the rest. That's simply because of the personal touch that they offer. Whether that be the pick up and drop off at your hotel, the private tuition or simply just the way that Panagiotis gives that little bit extra to ensure the satisfaction of his students. Most centres think only about business and how many people/divers/courses they can get that day or week. This is not the case with BigFish and definitely not Panagiotis' style it is his passion to enable you to enjoy as much as he does and to also pass on his knowledge to others. I truly that I could revisit BigFish center in 10 years and still be remembered and welcomed with the same traditional greek hospitality. We could not have asked for anything more. It was perfect from start to finish. Me and my partner dived at Ladiko Bay after being offered a private morning session. We had the best and highly recommend anyone else considering doing it, to just go for it as it’s the best thing I have ever done! This was all thanks to Panagiotis Alexandrou and team!
