The sight of one of legendary miracles of the ancient times. The Collossos once stood wide over the Mandraki harbor at Rhodos. The columns are great, with the deer on top. Beautiful port with stunning views of the sea. Lovely to see where the colossus once stood and how it looks now. Lots of boat trips to choose from and plenty of places to get a quick drink or ice cream. So much to see here from the beautiful sea to the well maintained historic buildings. Very photogenic open air area. Lots of things to see and plenty of benches for rest stops in the heat. Lots of kiosks and cafes and bars to get coffee or whatever you want before going through to the old fortifications at Rhodes. Nice island with very beautiful views and more to do and see! A busy but beautiful place. A few euros will get you access to the museum. Great place for a around the harbour to see the old wndmills and boats. It is a flat walk. Smoe eatrries close by. Words do the no justice, the is just superb. Beautiful clear blue ocean beneath the Greek sunshine. The hotel is very good. A lovely facility overlooking the Aegean Sea. The staff are helpful, friendly and excellent at their job. The only thing that lets it down is the food. Very average. Salads are good but it’s processed mushrooms and cold plates for lukewarm food. If the standard of the food could be improved then it would be excellent. But we had a great week, going on excursions and relaxing by the pool. Took the Yellow Submarine glass bottomed boat which was interesting but, be warned, they can only accommodate a maximum of 30 people in the glass bottom section but are quite willing to sell more than 30 tickets per trip so you are not really getting what you are told when you buy the ticket! The port is very pretty however. We visited during summer and absolutely loved it. The area is full of charm, with a beautiful view of the sea, boats, and historical surroundings. It’s a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for a relaxing or just enjoying the atmosphere. There are plenty of nice cafés and restaurants nearby as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! If you want to eat, drink and watch the world go by then this is the place. Beautiful harbour and the 'alleged' location of the Colossus of Rhodes. Plenty of places to eat with a great view and if you fancy a cake or slice of gateau look no further. The gateway to the old town is only a short away. Nice place, myst see. It was a nice time with my wife. We have checked the old city and the marina. I was snorkeling beside of marina. Beautiful water, beautiful weather. Love it! Beautiful views definitely go visit while your on your hoilday. Some markets stall in old town. Lovely along the port and through the castle. Got a shuttle bus from our hotel there and back 24€ Lovely port very close to the Old Town in Rhodes. Plenty of boat trips leaving daily. Brilliant day out on the pirate ship, 6hrs at, sea with food and drink. Drinks are limited as in choice, beer, only white wine or a cocktail of one choice. But the food was lovely, but could do with coffee warm and the waffles lol, but otherwise an amazing day, going to the springs, Anthony Quinn bay and the beach of the caves, sorry can't remember the name. Great to for €70 euros each, well worth it xx Nice round the to look at the other deer statue. Sea breeze was lovely and cooling and there was a few boats to look at. Great photo spot at the three windmills. Also a few benches to sit and admire the view along the way. Lovely marina, loads of boat trips to choose from at all times of the day, highly recommend the sunset boat cruise Amazing experience, amazing crew and amazing views. We went in the Wind catamaran (it was the best one of the 3, in our option). The crew was super friendly and helpful, but Andreas was the super star of them all, he was chatting with us most of the trip, he is super nice and extremely kind. We loved it.
