This is a super place to tire out and stimulate them in equal measure. First timers here. I brought Granny, my 4 old and >2 Yr old here. Charged €25 euro in. Definitely worth it as we spent 2&half hours between looking at the animals, digging in the covered sandpit, using the playground and go-kart track, exploring the soft and even petting the Guinea pigs. We had 2xlattes at €3.70 each and shared a toasted sandwich with 3 toppings at €7. Overall the had a ball, plenty to do even in poorly weather. I'd highly recommend if in the area. Nice place for around Cashel! a place where can inhouse when it’s raining and a outside with vehicles, animal farms (who seem to be fairly treated) and a complete playground (toboggan, sandpit,..). We spent some time there and our kid it. Fab place!! Our 3 old had the best time. Activities inside & out. The ride in the homemade train led by the Quad bike was awesome. Will be back regularly!! Visited this weekend with my (almost) 2 old nephew and his parents. Was really impressed with the entire setup from the big soft area, to the petting farm, the barrel train, the mini digger challenge, sand pit and so much more. The place was spotless (well before aforementioned 2 old dropped half his lunch on the cafe floor!). Food was much nicer than expected of places like this - had chicken goujon salad and 2 toasted sandwiches with chips. Very fresh and tasty! Stars of the show were the family and running the place. Couldn't have made us more welcome or been more friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Nice place for kids. There's an and and a few petting animals. The had a good time. Guardians can enjoy a cuppa at the sitting area. The pizza 👍some of food however 🥴 A great spot to take - great for sunny days and rainy days as there’s a lovely too. Very enjoyable The place is clean and welcoming, were very pleasant and helpful, i would have given the place 5 stars plus but one of the other parties booked in, we're not watching their ( not establishment fault) they were a big party of 10 plus mums and kids), there kept coming over to our table pinching our food, one girl in particular grabbed at the birthday cake, despite saying to the mother about her behaviour, mum just kept talking with her friends. Final step was the same child came over grabbed a slice of cake that on a plate and threw it on the floor, landing on our little girls new shoes, despite this the mum ignored us and sat looking at us all the time. It ruined the party. No ones fault other than rude parents who can not control their . I would 100% recommend this place Stopped here to break up the drive from Dublin to Cork with our 3 and 1 olds. We had some lunch straight away which was lovely and very kid (plastic plates, plain no fuss food). played in the soft and baby area. Everything was spotless and well maintained. We went to the petting and the owner was attentive and introducing the to my son. Then he brought him on the Quad bike train and he had a ball. Lots of tears when we were leaving which is the ultimate stamp of approval from a 3 old. Great facilities too. Will definitely return. Lovely spot for a day out. The were cute and we got to rub some. My little girl the quad train but the big hit was the soft inside, both my little boy and girl it and played there for ages. Cafe is lovely. The place is so clean which is fantastic. Awesome stop on our drive from Dublin to Cork. My 2.5 old daughter the bunnies and other small animals. It was raining, but there were plenty of covered areas with the small and an awesome for kids. The little cafe was the perfect snack and the was very and helpful. We had such an amazing day at Marlhill, my 17 month son absolutely the place. There was so much to see and do and the were all very and accommodating. Such a wonderful place my son the sandpit and playground they had put the back as well! He was fascinated by the and the farmer there brought out a little rabbit for him to pet. Would definitely recommend for a day out in good or bad weather! Visited here a few weekends ago with my 1 old, what a great day out! Lovely cafe, separate for younger children and then the amazing with so many animals. The were very and to be able to pet the was amazing, my little girl it. I was disappointed to see negative comments on Facebook about recent price restructuring, it seems that the owners were massively undercharging previously and are now charging reasonable prices. A family run great amenity for people to have in their or to visit when there and worth every cent of the admission price. We hope to be back! We just got home from my son’s 5th birthday party (with around 20 kids). The entire staff, from start to finish were phenomenal!! Checking in all the kids, taking orders, helping with timing of serving the food, cake, and playtimes was so helpful. The were on top of the cleaning, answered every question and helped with every step. They took the pressure off us completely. The weather wasn’t perfect for us, but they still made the portion of the party so much fun. The got to pet the animals, go on the barrel train and in the playground. Everything about it was perfect and we can’t wait to have our next family party there! Marlhill Farm has given us a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and we leave this evening smiling, happy and filled with many memories of a day well spent at a truly friendly, inviting and genuine place. When we got here this afternoon we were met with a very very owner, who filled us in on all we could see and do, followed by a warm and welcoming invite that we could spend as long as wished, all the way to closing. From the first minute, we remained entertained, and the whole experience did not disappoint. From the through to go karting, mini-digger driving, the train and the relaxed atmosphere, we really felt that Marlhill offers so much more than many open farms have to offer. Our son is a real animal lover. The ability to pet donkeys, see pigs, pet bunnies and be introduced to Meer cats has left an impression that I know will have him speak fondly of all he saw and did on his visit to this wonderful farm. After all had been seen, petted and spoken to, our son then enjoyed so much time on the go karts, on the swings at the playground, playing table tennis, before then tucking in to lunch indoors in the roomy facility that has as much to offer as the experience. Here we were met with a very clean, attention to detail room, with plenty of comfortable seating, tables, and a big for to in. Again, adults will not be left wanting when it comes to teas, coffee, sweet treats, salads, and hot foods for and adults alike. As regards bathrooms, each remained as fresh and clean as the day they were open to the public. Again, in their attention to detail nature, Marlhill offers a breastfeeding room, and so many of the small things that make a place like this a cut above, because the owners take the time to figure out what it is that visitors need and want. Here attention to detail, cleanliness, order, and above all the warmth with which you are met not only shone through, but leave you feeling that return visits will become the norm. To finish, Marlhill proved a really wonderful experience from start to finish. We cannot begin to thank these decent, warm, people enough for giving us the experience that we have had today. With memories in tow, all I can do is wish them continued success into the future, and hope that you the reader will give this wonderful place a visit and see for yourself all the open farm has to offer.
